Damn it's been a while!

Last time I wrote bon here my child looked like an Ethiopian but now he's chunky and saying babababa mamamaaa dadadaaa.

The dude is rolling around everywhere and he's dangerously close to crawling.

So I've had a lot going on since the last time I wrote on here till now and I feel a little close to you all to tell you all about them.

Man I'm drawing like a murderer!

Each page is my victim and I leave them with my mark letting the people know who did it but yet I can get away with it.

With my pencil I stab the page over and over until I've craved out a whole page full of panels and groovy cool pictures of not naked people but zombies. HA!

Brad is doing good, he has Aids now and it has reached his whole brain and I feel I can no longer stop it John!

My wife and I are talking about taking a trip to Korea. Not North Korea.

She wants to move there and visit Japan and well I can't say I don't want to visit there but I'm iffy about moving there.

BUT! I would consider on moving if I visited the areas and sleep on it. I would do anything for a new start and a good one for my family.

Not that my life here is so bad but let's just say maybe a new challenge would be nice. A different set of people.

Regardless what job I work at next I'm still gonna do comics and nothing will stop that.

I'm helping my son right now control his balance, It's pretty cool actually to see that brain work.

Dude babies are freaking cool as hell! Watching them learn is awesome. He was able to sit up just now for two minutes.

Well did I tell you I was taking a little break from the comic I was working on after Evil Bunny?

Yeah well I'm in the process of another graphic novel. Can't help it. It's a habit. Well this one is different from Evil Bunny.

For one I'm actually having fun doing everything on this comic just because i'm drawing what I want.

I'm working on page 8 now.

The manga is almost finished and it's coming along swell.

I don't know what else to tell ya other than that I'll get the cover of my new comic and a short sneak peek of the comic it's self here later on.

Man things are moving faster and faster and I feel like I'm moving slower and slower.

But that's what happens when you get older.

Been trying to work on comics for a while but all I can do right now is nothing.

No one to blame but me so don't think I'm gonna blame anyone this time.

Well I'll be making some new changes on my website soon. I plan on dedicating a whole page to a list of materials I use for making comics and provide resources and various links to help you get on your way as well.

I do have a page like that but it's old and out dated and it's not that helpful when it comes to providing links or places to get a hold of the things ya need.

Well last night I waited up till fourish in the morning for my bro to come over to work on some comics but nothing.

Oh well. I'm not gonna ask him to come over anymore so I don't get my hopes up anymore.

If you wanna come over man just call me and we'll see how busy I am.

Well I wont be writing blogs anymore. I will be making video blogs instead.

I'm alreay working on one now so enjoy.

Some amazing things have been going my way lately.

For one my son and wife finally came home and I'm spending the rest of my life with them.

I'm working on a new comic book and the art style has improved a lot and I'm just excited about this new project.

Work is no longer stressing me out as much and I'm gonna have my own art studio/ hangout pad/ man cave and guest bedroom.

Things are pretty awesome here.

My son is in his little basinet sleeping and stretching, making sounds.

Plus the rash that I've had since December has finally gone away.

I've been having to fight my computer a lot this week. It's been acting weird. No it wasn't from all the paper porn that shit is hilarious!

No my photoshop and WACOM have been acting weird and so I've had to remove them both and reinstall them both.

That and move some stuff around my comp today and now I'm currently backing up some really important crap.

Hot damn yo it's been a while!

So how have you been? No shut up I don't care because I'm the fresh prince here.

I'm sitting here just listening to techno and being lazy. Yeah that's right I said it. A lot has changed over the time I've updated a bit of my life on here.

I now take good number of breaks, I sleep and I make time to be lazy and enjoy myself a little more.

Yes. I'm still working on my shit and I'll continue to work on it until the day I die.

I've had to put several new projects that I've been trying to put together on hold because I'm not feeling them both story wise and character wise.

BUT! Do not fear I have a new schedule set up now for my work and it's been on and off lately because I've been writing again on my newest story.

This new story is a good one.

Evil Bunny has been moving by a little slower than planned but that's because we are currently pumping out and working harder on other projects that might have potential of being published and since Evil Bunny doesn't at this point it hasn't been our top priority.

It will be worked on and finished but until then you'll have to patiently wait it out.

Man our beta fish is hilarious!

Sorry that was random I took a break from writing and I was paying attention to our beta fish he was pissed because we haven't spent time with him today but now he is all happy and over exited like a dog.

Getting Some Writing Going AndComic Night 4

Well I've been doing a lot of writing lately for the manga me and Brad have been working on for a while now.

It's all coming along pretty well.

I haven't drawn anything in a while because i've set up a new schedule for my projects.

So it's moving a long just right to help the process to move on.

Brad is moving pretty fast but damn we need to move a little faster plus we need to get more people hooked onto this project.

Once we get the first book finished we're gonna go ahead and start working on the other one before submitting it off to a publisher.

We are currently in the process of trying to get this thing self published and we'll make some soft cover copies ready for you to buy and put into your comic collection.

We are also planning on submitting the book again to some other publishers and wish us luck because we're gonna give this thing our all before it's told they wont do nothing with it and then we're keeping the game and sells into our hands.

The new comic is moving a long faster than Evil Bunny ever did but that's because it's a much simpler art style and not as detailed as Evil Bunny but the story is really good.

So I'll be working on that project here again on Monday.

Cranking Out Da Comix!

Man I love waking up early in the morning and working on some go old comics while listening to some good/ new podcast.

That gets my balls pumped for the day. That and my wife.

But yes I have finished page 1 and I'm lacking two panels of page 2 but they are in the working process now.
Fully penciled and inked out just needs a little bit of photoshop and lettering to do the trick and that will warp it up.

Already drew out and inked maybe three panels for page 3 and finished doing the page and panel layout.

Dad all of that today!

Hell yes! Today has been a pretty awesome day but I'm sure it's gonna suck so hard later because i'm already in my work uniform and I have to work from 5 till 12 tonight/ this morning.

My employers seem to think I really like that place and working for them and serving those terrible people because I don't know why they keep making me work stupid crazy hours there.

I mean I know it's not bad to some but they like to make sure they waste away your whole day and also they want you to have an absolute zero percent social life style.

BUT let's try to make it a good day and you know why I should? Because I rock and everyone else sucks at life.

YES! No stop... you do.

To tell you the truth I'm pretty pumped for now and hopefully for the rest of my everyday life because theres a new podcast that just came out that I have been waiting for for years.

Updating Your Sandy Ass

Excited about a new podcast coming out soon! New shit to listen to while working on comics.

Look for Chaos Pony on iTunes when it comes out sometime this week.

Well I've been working on my new comic while taking a little break on Evil Bunny.

QUICK NOTE: The Evil Bunny site is down because it got so much hits that it took up all the bandwidth so now I either have to pay for the site or do something else about posting up the comic.

Looking forward to submitting this thing to other publishers again. I will submit it still even though it was rejected.

Look out Dark Horse, Image Comics and who ever else I'm gonna submit to.

This new comic IS looking pretty damn good according to other people and I think so too. (Although I'm more of a detail nut.)

This comic is not as detailed nor is the style the same as Evil Bunny. (Same art style different page set up.)

What I like about this new comic is that it's taking me to do four panels both penciled, inked and photoshop in either a day or two.

This project is moving is pretty fast so hopefully we can get this thing cranked out and finished fast so we can send it off to SLG.

I know I have other possibilities to submit to and one day I would love to submit my other work to other publishers but for some reason I don't know why but I really want to be published through SLG Publishing.

I really read Dan's letter and his advice to what he's looking for and I hope I'm doing what he's looking for. This story is pretty good.

Man our internet is sucking over here. It kicks off between both me and my wife.

Gonna have to get some long either-net cords to plug into our computers.

This book also gives off some good recommendations to certain art supplies websites that carry everything you will possibly need for making your comic trades, graphic novels or manga.

I bought this at our local Hastings store but I'm sure you can find it anywhere or even online somewhere but look it up if interested and it's not expensive at all, it's worth a few bucks.

Reject Or Success

So I just got some word in on the comic I was trying to get published and you guys ready to hear the word on if it's going to or not?

it's not.

Yep there were some things I needed to improve in and I agree 100%

So what am I supposed to do? Just say oh well and try again.

So it's back to the ole drawing board and come up with something new and better.

Which I think I already have! YES! I'm working on the story now and I've got eight and a half pages going on now.

PLUS a character design. I tell you one thing it does feel weird to start anew project and be at point A again.

So some people were very surprised at me reaction towards the rejection letter and I think I took it better than most people and I know some of you are probably wondering what I'm thinking about it and where my opinion stands at this point.

To be honest yes it is disappointing but I too could see a lot of flaws in that book to stop it from getting published and yes it does delay a lot of my plans and hopes for the life I wanted and I'll be stuck like I am for a little longer BUT! This is also a good thing for me people.

1. No matter if it's published or not I still want you all to read it so I put it up on my website and facebook for you all to read and to enjoy.

2. This gives me time to do a new story so I can stop doing so much of Evil Bunny. I've been really wanting to do this for a long time now.

3. This gives me time to improve in my art skills. The publisher seemed to like it and saw potential in me and he gave me a ton of great tips and advice to help better my talents and skills to get published through them.

4. This makes me some what feel one step closer. I know weird, you think it would make me feel further away than before but I don't feel that way at all. In fact I feel closer to reaching y goals and dreams and I feel more like a comic book artist.

I just submitted a comic book, a whole 35 page book for the first time and got my first rejection letter with great criticism and the publisher wishing me the best of luck in my work.

In less than two weeks and not in like a month or two.

That's awesome man! How many people can say they did that?

and it was looked by the creator of the publishing company himself Dane Vado the creator and owner of SLG Publishing.

So that means he personally looked over it.

Thank you so much for all your support guys and I promise you that this is only the beginning... Oh man I have so many stories,characters and ideas for you all and I can't wait for that day when I see one of my books on the shelves and seeing if someone would want to buy it or not or even just looking at it.

Let's keep Comics Going Through 2011 (Personal testimony too)

Oh year 2000how you've quickly poisoned everyone with the media.

This is why I'm more of a 90's guy than 2000's.

I wanna talk with you guys today about comics and the industry it's self.

True I am no professional in the comic book industry BUT I do have an opinion and ideas andI expect no one to really read this blog because in todays world we are a youtube and movie/ TV nation.

We want quick entertainment, we want it cheap or for $0 and not pay for it at all and we want it now because we get home from our work life and we are stressed and what is the only thing we want to do? Watch TV or play video games or sleep.

I know a huge majority of the world and America doesn't like to read because it can seem boring BUT reading does have it's advantage you know.

Let me throw you a face full of examples here.

When you read it extends your imagination higher than what any video game or movie can do.

It's just as effective as listening to music.

Every now and then you listen to a song it will make you laugh or cry and maybe even motivate you to want to become a musician but I'm not talking about music I'm only trying to give you a picture of how reading really can work when you open your closed minded little brain to fiction or none or to even comic book trade paper backs or even graphic novels.

Where do you think your precious Dark Knight movies started or came from? A comic book published through DC Comics.

Where did a lot of the ideas for some of the great super hero movies or even thugs and Spartans? Comic books.

Where did pro wrestling or WWE or any of those wrestling shows get their ideas for the media entertainment for you?

Comics... I'm not saying all came from it but you can see the influence in there.

BUT! As much as I am trying to explain to you what all comics has done for the media I still haven't explained to you what it can do for you!

Quick note: Comics has done a shit load of stuff for the rest of the media but a good majority of the media has really done nothing for the comics and I personally think it's time for the media to scratch our backs.

Let me make an example and tell you personal experience to help give you a better picture of the situation and why reading and reaching out is a better idea for everyone.

I've been going on for about three years and god knows how many days with out TV, not watching it not turning it on or thinking about it and recently I've haven't watched very many movies or played very much video games and I know what you are probably thinking is OH MY GOD WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?

True it was tough at first but over these past three years of not filling up my head with entertainment I have survived only by reading comics, listening to music and devoting most of my time to working on my craft which is comics.

I have been studying the industry and the market out there, researching what is hot and what's not, studying other art styles and improving my own art style.

Over the last three years of doing this I have started working on a 35 page graphic novel all by my self with no one to help do some work for me, I learned how to pencil erase and I learned how to use certain tools that I've never seen or have used before.

I improved in my art work by doing it all by myself, I spent money that I didn't have before but do now because I'm not going out buying a bunch of crap to waste my time away until I go to sleep and wake up and go to work.

True... Three years is a long time but not everyone would take as long as three years, I only did it as precaution, yes I wanted to be a published comic book artist so bad and do what I love to do as a day job and not have to get another one so badly.

But as with anything you can't just rush into things.

My point is that if it wasn't for comics I wouldn't of got the quick entertainment and open mind that I have now to do something to help improve my craft.

I'm not saying the world would be better off this way or you should all convert to comics but expand your imagination, get up off your lazy ass and actually do something with your life!

I spent 18 years of my life doing nothing but watching TV, movies and playing video games and getting on the internet that all sucked away my free time.

But something about reading really brought out the strength in my imagination and helped inspire me to want to do more with my life before I die.

I don't want to be wasting all my time doing nothing, now I've got to do something.

But let me get off of my personal experience here and throw some stuff in your face about the comic book industry.

It's dyeing and this isn't new this is old news, they have been fighting and making many sacrifices and taking many risks and chances to stay in business and they are giving to you people great material out there but your not giving back.

Another part of the problem IS the internet, people can easily find comics and manga online to read and I'm not saying this is fully a bad thing because it can help promote the artist and writer and help them make an honest buck but there are many people out there who will read all this content for free and will never buy it and that really hurts an artist.

You are really taking money out of that persons wallet and all they are trying to do is give you good entertainment to help them help not only you but them to feed their family and pay for bills.

The internet isn't the prime cause of hurting comics or the industry but it is a tool and it is effective and it's mostly 97% not a workable model.

Someone has to pay for content to get it and yes I am guilty of reading or watching stuff for free from time to time but over time I've really limited that and I have made up for paying for that content.

There is only one manga I read online but I am collecting all the books when they come out and I would at least like to test something out before buying it too but not to the point to where I read or watch the whole thing and never get it.

Another bit is retailers who are lazy and dull minded and only care for their childhood memories like Batman or Spiderman and only sell those types of books
because that's what they like and they think it's really popular BUT in my opinion the comics aren't... They are old and repudiative and they should all be dead long ago and buried six feet under ground or something.

But they keep making these comics and as long as these old bastards are still live and stories are still going then I guess to them it will sell but let's look at a real local comic book shop.

Your average local comic book shop is not a good store by any means what so ever, it should be condemned and it's either in a bad location or it always looks like it's going out of business.

We need more support and success of people who will know how to run a store and throw out good content on their shelves for people to see and to buy so it not only helps keep them in business but the content providers themselves.

I'm doing my part by trying to provide you only the best work I can give you.

Baby & Oodles

I was not planning on making another sad blog and try and point this one into a much more positive direction but how can I when so much has happened tonight...

So where do I begin?

You all remember on my last blog post about taking in a cute dog and we are going to call her baby because that's her name.

Well baby is no longer with us and no we didn't find a good family or give her a better home but we tried all we could for her, we really tried to give this dog what she really deserved, a much better life.

You know i'm too mentally tired and frustrated to where I am not able to think anymore...

I've had a long day with nothing to eat what so ever, worked a 10:45 to 7:45 shift and no food and come home to all of this mess...

My wife's latest blog entry can help better explain it, there is so much more to the story but it's all just too much and too painful.

I would like to make a note that if your reading this and you know me or even if you don't... Please pray for my dad and his dog, that was his best friend there in the whole wide world.

But if you would please pray for me and my wife too...

This has mentally drained us both to the point to where we can't cry no more. This really breaks our hearts and I hate to see such a beautiful dog snap into a wrong moment and take the path it's getting now...

Baby... You will never be forgotten and we will always love you, mommy loves you and daddy loves you so much!

Never have I had a dog for less than a week and fell in love with it.

I knew you... I saw the good and potential in you, no one else saw it but those who knew you do.

This sucks because I can't really take any side, I mean I would take up for my dad in a heartbeat over an animal but Baby was messed up in the head...

It was her provisos owners own damn fault in the first place that made her that way.

Animals have innocence that we humans will never have.

Well hello world and sea monkeys I am back with Zach-attacks!

Friday was an eventful day for me and the wife.

Well we went to the bank and realized we were in the negatives but thankfully we took care of it within 24 hours so no debt for me yet and hopefully never.

But the wife got her some good reading material at the Library and while she was looking for books I went and took my fat ass to UPS and dropped off my comic to submit it off to SLG Publishing and it's out there in the world right now getting ready to be read and hopefully if we are lucky and if I sacrifice a duck in time it will get published.

SO IT'S ACTUALLY SENT AND WE WONT HEAR ANYTHING BACK IN MAYBE A MONTH OR SO... Yay.

BUT! Also Brad came over and spent the night here and stayed up all night working his ass off on the comic and he only made a few mistakes but I'm thinking I should tally up all his mistakes and see if he actually does a page without mistakes.

He's a great artist though and I'm glad to be working with his black ass.

As much as I treat him like a dropped sandwich he really is super ok.

Now that same day me and Deanna were gonna go adopt a little beta fish because it's cheaper and less expensive and when she's here all by herself she get's lonely so this was something to keep her company and entertained.

Well something happened that we didn't expect and while trying to adopt a fish we adopted another pet.

Well on the way to go pick out the fish we had to go to a gas station to get her something to drink and eat because she's pregnant and she get's nose bleeds easily and well when we arrived we found her the dog that we took home.

She was abandoned and left there tied up to an air pump all day long in the cold shivering cold.

She's so sweet and gentle I really wish we could keep her and give her a good home to stay at but I don't think we have enough money to take care of her.

Hopefully everything will work out to benefit her.

Coloring, writing and Adjusting!

Ha ha I'm back folks and no Batman will not be joining us today simply for the fact he's tied up to a burning pile of teddy bears right now.

HA HA! LET THE BURNING FUN BEGIN AND PLEASE! ... Don't bring the Nazis.

I have enough of them in my basement melting in acid right now.

So let's just rape right into comics shall we?

Well over the time I've been penciling out on the comic, I have 13 pages done so far but I'm gonna take a little break on penciling until my eyes fully adjust to my glasses so until then I'll be doing some photoshopping.

Which is good for me because I've just recently finished page one on the new comic and it's fully colored and I used a lot of new things on this one compared to the first book.

Take a look if you would like.

Yes yes I really like this first page. It really brings out the characters seeing them in color like that.

I dunno tell me what you think.

I AM really proud of the coloring in here but I know it could improve more and there has to be a much better way of doing it but if anyone out there knows please let me know.

I would work on it more tonight but I'm gonna say that's enough for now, I have to go to work at 8PM and work till 12AM again tonight and I'm trying to get everything at least caught up and done to a point to where I'm happy for the night while sitting thereat that boring place all night with all those terrible people.

Man I need to get me a new mouse, this one is messing up on me... The left click is acting up on me. I really like this mouse too it's a good one.

So tomorrow will be a big day, I'm gonna print off that first colored page for the publisher to send off to let them know I'm serious about the whole Evil Bunny project and let them know we are working on it.

Then I gonna go to UPS and send it all off to SLG and hope for the best. (Wish me luck times a million everyone.)

Well I started working on the second page now and I haven't colored it yet but I've been thinking of this cool idea to only color the dream part and leave the real world in black and white to show off the mood and setting of the world around the characters.

OH! Before I forget incase any of you might want to know what programs I used for this first page I only used two programs and that was Adobe Photoshop and Comic Life.

Google that crap and you'll figure it out in no time.

I highly recommend using Comic Life and Manga Studio.

I haven't really messed around with MS too much but I have been getting the hang of certain things and playing around with paneling and effects.

MOVING ON!

I am currently writing my next story after Evil Bunny, Evil Bunny was based on Easter and this next one will be based on Christmas and right now that's all I'm gonna slip out.

I really like this new story, the characters are funny, great to read and the story is different.

Brad my evil crime doer is doing great I hope there for I am.

He has been working on the manga and inking out Evil Bunny and really impressing me all the way to be honest.

Can't wait to see what else he can do.

Every page is different, I try to draw up something that I know he can copy, make him mad or see what changes he can make to make it look better and he amazes me every time.

Twas gonna do a few blogs before this but we will jump into those filthy depressing little things later.

Well I still haven't sent off the comic to SLG yet and I really need to so I'm just waiting for a good time to go out there and enjoy the world again.

Man things keep building up in life, things I wish I didn't have to deal with or handle or let others take care of because I haven't the time for it all.

Every time I think I'm done or when I think we got most of this shit done it changes or theres more stuff coming up.

We haven't had this new room for too long and now we've gotta move things around again and damn you batman for not helping us!! I shake my fist at you.

Well let's not keep ranting I'm actually in and OK mood, well sorta. I can only have time to blog right now because it's no noisy and crowded in here with people talking and doing measurements all over my head and back getting ready for moving crap around in this room and I'm going back to reality and depression so I'm moving out of it by farting. There's not really a creative atmosphere in this room right now...

I'm trying to build up one with listening to some crappy music with the headphones on but I can't blaze them because they is new and people might hear my crappy music.

I feel paranoid typing this because they are looking at my screen. these robots tend to read what I type and I'm not a robot and we all know that robots secretly eat humans.

Now that it's just me and the wife in the room now I can finally get into my creative position and hopefully draw some comics before I drift off into the dark nothing that I could possibly never wake up from and DAMN IT BATMAN I HATE THIS FUCKING KEYBOARD!

Seriously man I shouldn't have to fix like thirty mistakes at once because the damn space bar is retarded.

Second book is coming along pretty ok actually. I like this one a lot more than the original one to be honest it's better both story telling wise, art-style, characters,action and environmental.

Now I got my happy song on!

My goal is to finish this page tonight and move on to another page with maybe three panels or more.

Me and the bradinator/ black man have been kicking it lately talking comics/ manga and inking and drawing while I yet at him for his disobedience and F-ups but yet he makes it up with his good work.

Right now on the comic I'm working on page 12 so HA! Moving much faster this time so you can take the moose and put it up your ass and wait for it to implode on it's self.

This sort of thing is normally easy for me yet at the same time it's not.

I'm still trying to get the first book ready to send off to some publishers but now I'm working on the new book but trying to keep myself limited to just penciling now and adjusting to working with a team of people one I know and some I don't know but I hope they get the idea and understand the comic and my artwork and can make it look like I want maybe even better but mostly be dedicated to it too.

Over The Time

Over the time we end up losing and gaining a lot of old and new things.

I my self have lost a lot of things but in return I have gained a lot of things.

From the ages of 18 through 21 it's amazing how fast things can change for the better and for worst, I've lost a lot of friends, people I used to talk to and jobs.

BUT I have gained a lot over the time. I've gained new friends and better people to hang out with and a job that I hate that makes me money and a job that I love that makes no money yet.

It's amazing how people around you will change and show you their true colors when you try to change for the better and grow up a little. Also one of the hardest things to do when your changing your life around for the better is forgetting your past.

When your younger and dumb you don't really think about these things but I never knew I had such a past that I would end up hating now. The past haunts me from time to time but I've tried to show my past my new current self and how much things have changed over the time.

Apparently back in my younger days in school I was already building up a pretty bad reputation with certain people I knew and people I did not know and its funny how your reputation can effect you and the current people around you.

Well I've learned to let go of my past self and all my past habits and the people who were not really my friends or were not a good crowd to hang around with.

I just recently found out that a person I knew who's name I wont mention because I will respect her personal privacy BUT I recently found out she dropped me off of her facebook, myspace and whatever other social websites she goes to.

I recently saw her at work and she looked at me and then looked away like I was a nobody and to tell you the truth I have nothing against this person yeah I admit we had a sort of past and we did some things that put a damper on our friendship but it's just kind of weird when someone wants nothing to do with you when you you have no idea about it and they randomly hate you behind your back.

But as time went on and as I was just starting to date my now lovely wife she was trying to do things with me knowing I was dating someone else and basically ruining the purpose of the moment.

I'm not sure what's going through her head but if you are reading this then I would like to say one thing.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry you feel the way that you do and how you feel about me and I wish you the best of luck in your work and hope you end up successful in your life and talents.

There are a lot of people I used to hang out with in school and haven't met with since I left but some are slowly coming back into my life and some will drop by every now and then.

Some people look at me and adults even who knew me as a kid look at me still today as that weird kid who I wished never hung out with our son.

Now that I've hit the past let me show you what I'm currently like now.

You all need to forget about the past Zach because that's not who I am anymore. I've changed and anyone who knows me and still knows me can tell you the same.

I am a happily married man who loves the heck out of his wife and is excited about his baby boy who will soon be coming into the world.

I work at a job right now that I currently hate with all my heart and I get pushed around by all of these ungrateful people who have no respect for me or anyone who bust their butts and works hard but I still work there because I have to have a job to help support my family and be responsible.

On top of that I've been busting my ass working at my other job that pays no money right now but maybe might pay off one day by working on comic books and following my dreams and using my talents to make something out of myself.

Well I'm gonna stop now before it starts to sounds depressing.

I'm happy

MAJOR COMIC UPDATE!

COMIC IF FINISHED!

Yes, yes... I finally finished it and boy do I have an interesting story to tell you while working on this thing and finishing it all up at the same time.

PLUS! my new web-comic I wanted to talk with you guys about. But we'll get to that later.

Alrighty I got some things done. Done watching Lord Of The Rings, cleaning my old room I moved out of and now I've got a back massager and listening to some good podcast.

So yes I have finished the comic book and I had it copyrighted and printed all out.

All of this was a challenge in every single way.

Of coarse the work it self was tough and stressful as it was but not only that but every step of the way was not a straight path and as easy as it should of been.

Of coarse the art work was stressful but doing all of that work was annoying but a great learning experience.

But printing it out and putting together a portfolio for submissions is another thing. This is the part I don't like so far.

My God man kind needs to make a better and more sufficient computer system along with a printer/ scanner.

One that will not change settings in the middle of everything for no damn reason and will print an scan what you want the first time without having to re-do it over twenty times.

I think Office Depot is just a sick as me as I am of them.

So i'm almost done and about to submit my work off so wish me good luck.

Before I sound emo and depressing I wanna give you an update on the comic.

The comic is going good, a little slower than I planned and hopefully it will be done before the baby gets here in this world.

I'm on page 15 now out of 35 pages.

I'm working on a web comic called The Arkansas Boy.

Now on to my everyday stuck life.

When I say stuck I mean both me and my wife, we're trapped in something we can't control and we're not happy with at all BUT I think we're trying to make the best out of it.

Life hasn't been going the way we wanted it to, I mean I have an unexpected baby boy on the way and different bills to pay now and trying to cope with my wife to working somewhere close to make a little cash as well and putting up with responsibilities around the house and with all three families now.

Today was a kicker for us. My dad has been getting on our nerves lately and I feel trapped because I feel I can do nothing about it because this is his house and his rules but as badly as I wanna stick up and say something and show him his wrongs instead of just hearing my own I feel that I can't...

I mean he really is part of the reason why I wanted to move out in the first place... I mean I wanted to because of the fact I'm 21 years old now and married and having a kid but because I'm married and having a kid everyone of my plans backfired in my face.

I mean don't get me wrong I love my dad with all my heart and I would do anything in the world for him but he's an obsessive OCD control freak and I know he can't help it but it's getting to the point to where he's becoming a little ridiculous to where he barks the orders and I try to show him some of his wrongs but he wont listen to a word I say or he does and it doesn't compute.

It's getting to my wife too and this upsets me because I have to really bite down on my tongue hard to not upset both of them because I love them both and I want to work it all out for both of them.

It hurts me knowing he gets to her that much and I'm sure he doesn't mean for it but he does and I'm trying so hard to not take anyones side or defend one particular person but I'm not doing so good there.

I mean he has to remember that my wife was raised in a whole new and different environment then us and she's having to adapt into ours and it's gonna take her time to get used to it all because she's no longer with her family and friends or under the roof that she once lived at.

I try explaining we all have our own different ways of doing things but to him it's his way and his way only.

Plus he keeps nagging me about other stuff that I'm trying to finish up like cleaning my old room out but it's hard when all you do is sneeze and cough when your in that room and I'm sorry but I can't stand being like that all day and I try to do as much as I can when I can when I'm in that room plus keep in mind that I have all this stuff I didn't plan or everyday drama and work and my own priorities coming at me like a cannon ball all day every day.

I mean there needs to be some sort of understanding and I'm doing my best... I'm trying so hard not to screw up and to be a great son, loving husband and new father while working at a job I completely hate with all my might and trying to work it all out with the money in my wallet, putting up with everyones BS at work and at home and all of this extra drama heading my way is just kinda overwhelming.

Not trying to give anyone a guilt trip or make you feel sorry but this is something that IS bothering me and while all at the same time I'm trying to keep going in life and not give up.

I wish I could, I really wishI could just give in and not have any goals in life but I'm just too damn ready to live the life I want to live and my biggest fears is I'll never see that day coming.

I feel like no one understands my logic of doing things but it is how I do things and no matter how many times I explain it to you, you will never understand why comics means so much to me and why it's so important to me in my life right now.

Let me give you my reason for it.

4. Something I feel that I'm good at
5. it's who I am!

Boo! Did I scare you... No? Oh well...

Some things have been going on that I think I should update you all about.

One I am finished with screen-toning and photoshopping in all of the pages and now I have to o back over every single one of them to do color corrections, clean up, lettering and fix any over looked parts of the page.

Also I am now in the thinking process for writing out maybe a script for a mystery comics.

we'll try to aim for Dark Horse or Image comics but we'll see what happens.

I do not know how long it will take to get this thing actually finished or how far it will go for the simple fact that our penciler is in prison. So I have no idea what all he can and cannot have such as paper, pencils and utensils.

Plus we have no inker for this thing so I might have to ink it in my spare time but I dunno.

Podcast Updates

Yeah so I know i'm not going with my normal routine I've been doing lately but I'll get back into the flow again once things calm down.

So I have some bad news... The podcast will have to hold for a bit, no I haven't given up on it, if anything I've been working on it, right now I'm doing a lot of recordings and adding a bunch of new stuff to the show to make it better but I accidentally deleted and moved some things and it's causing a problem with the episodes I'm working on right now so please be patient.

We've got a ton of new stuff coming your way on season 3.

We already have like 8 episodes recorded but not finished.

So we are a head recording wise but editing wise we aren't.

Keep in mind that when I usually do skits and stuff like that it takes me a lot longer and it gets me off track of things for a bit.

New Place

Well me and the wife are moving in to our new place with lots of space and yes I meant for that to rhyme.

Well we didn't move out of the house only because we don't have the money right now to survive out there so we worked things out with my dad to live in the pit.

The pit is a big room with red walls and purple floors with black shelves and lava lamps covered now with house hod objects, two iMacs, art stuff, tons of game consoles with classic games with a slowly added feature to the collection and more.

The place used to be a game room but before that it used to be a garage so you can imagine how big the room is.

Man we've been busy for the past few days now and this is my only time to relax and let loose.

I'll be working on the comic tonight, maybe till 3:00am or something, I don't have to go to work for two more days thank God everything was worked out to get these things out of the way so we can settle down.

I defiantly owe them now.

This Monday we will find out what our little baby is growing in my wife's belly.

I've been doing all kinds of things today and yesterday.

1. Moving the wife's stuff and a bed frame with matrices over here.
2. Putting together a computer desk.
3. Getting bills, financial, medical and governmental and other stuff out of the way.
4. Moving and and cleaning things from my old room into our new room.
5. Laundry, organizing everything both clothes and electronically wise.
6. Shopping for house hold stuff, needs and son baby stuff.
7. Trying to eat and make breaks in between and hanging out with friends and family.
8. Working on the comics and blogging.

Yeah that has become my schedule lately but hopefully things will chill out soon before the little one comes along the way into our life.

Married And Honeymoon

So these last few days have been great!

Yesterday I was married to Deanna Elizabeth Parker and she is now known as Deanna Elizabeth Dailey.

Our wedding was awesome! You wouldn't believe all the great blessings we had through out the whole thing.

3. Cheap and lovely wedding
4. Free condo for our three day honeymoon in Hot Springs AR
5. Free wedding rings
6. Possible free vehicle
7. Loving family and friends
And much much more.

Thank you Jesus for all your blessings you've brought to me and my new family.

Deanna and I are having a blast here. I have some pictures to show you all soon but for now I'll just talk about some good things.

Right now we just got back from the Olive Garden and we're both here at the condo relaxing and thank God we brought the Mac with us, the internet here isn't so bad either.

This room is great! two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, cable, internet and back patio with a lake sight that's just beautiful.

This whole condo rents out $100.00 a night but we got it free.

Our neighbors own the room and let us use it for the honeymoon. We have to remember to thank them a long with everyone.

Today we went walking down town at Hot Springs AR, we started out with breakfast at the English Muffin that serves GREAT homemade breakfast food!

Next we went down town and walked through out the town exploring a lot of shops and many places that took us in for sells.

We bought three toys for our baby, although we have no idea what it is yet it felt great shopping for our baby.

Today was an interesting yet beautiful day, I have so many pics for you all.

Sitting here watching South Park and drinking some coke and Whisky.

The lady is out now.

Poor thing has had a lot today, her and the baby are getting their beauty sleep.

I love both of my babies.

I Know I Try To Do It Alone...

This blog will not follow the usual order that I've been doing lately, this is a whole new blog on me writing my heart out.

My very best friend in life, comic amigo and best man in my wedding coming up on October 9th.

I'll quote him.

"This is to you my best friend Zach. I'm tired. I'm alone. But I can't give up. I can't stop. I want you to know that the past couple of years has meant the most to me, maybe more than any in my life. That's because I have you. You inspire so much hope and wonder in my life. I have new life because of you. I've never been one to give up or stop because it's not who I am. There's always good things in life and I'm willing to keep taking any punches from life to see them. You give me enjoyment in my life, with your passion, I've had no one to stand with me in seeking the most out of life and then you came along.

I wish I could express how much this has meant to me. It makes me cry at times how much you mean. I can see the stress in your eyes lately. There's so much coming at you now. I know it's tough, it's hard, it's painful, it hurts, it's confusing, it's stressful, you feel alone. I'm with you. I'm always here. It'll never stop, it'll never die, It'll never be less. It'll never stop, not in the end of time or in Heaven.

I'm writing to let you know that never doubt yourself, never let the tough things coming ahead in life ever stop you from being who you are. Trust yourself. There was a time when I didn't and you and me are alike. We strive for good, to not waste what we have, to not let others hurt on own account. I've been there and believe me, don't hold the burden to yourself. I know your trying to be strong, but not letting others help you much, only makes them feel like you don't care about them, you can't handle the burden all by yourself, it affects all of us, it only makes you weak. I had to learn it the hard way, it cost me a lot. And you don't deserve to go through that. To have to learn it the hard way.

Never doubt what you are doing, never doubt and/or think you are wrong in pursuing the dream of getting what want from comics, or from life period. I'm with you in this, I'll never stop. I'll never go anywhere, it's all I have and if you take it all on yourself to see it through, I'll have nothing and be alone again in reaching for it. Your the best friend I've ever had and that I'll ever have. I'll push myself to the ends to make what we want come through. And believe me it will, we can't stop or let the hits in life make us doubt. I'll never stop, I'll never lose interest, I'll never lose passion.

Never think you are alone. Never think that you should do it alone. You shouldn't do this all by yourself. I will take the responsibility with you. I will see it through with you. I will live it, and feel it with you. Let's move. Let's have our adventure. Let's to this together. I love you man, more than I could ever describe. And this dream we have together means just as much to me. Don't ever doubt that. We're in this together, and you will not do this all by yourself."

I know I'm an independent soul, I try so hard every day and push myself to where it damages my health.

I try to face things alone only because that what I've only known for my whole life. I was truly alone my whole life, grounded from everything in the world and laughed at by people and I scare half of the people in my family.

Growing up like this turned me into who I am today sadly... I workaholic... A dreamer... Independent.

The funny things is I know everyone who is in my friends group is there for me but to be honest, I'm not used to being with a group of caring friends.

I grew up through out school with no click, no real true friend and no desire for anything else around me but my own self and my craft, that was the only thing in this world that has ever stopped me from putting a gun to my head and killing myself.

I dream big and it all comes slowly and I can see my future in my heart but my will is ready and it kills me to wait like this to get to where I want to be, to look at all of these other successful people who either do deserve it or not and then I look at the people around me in disgust and then I look at my self and where I am now.

So I constantly work myself even if it hurts me, I'm only human, my soul and will is stronger than my human body and I think that's what the problem is.

I'm sorry if I've hurt you or anyone for that matter, I'm sorry your seeing me like this, I'm sorry I don't tell you all everything or let you fully into my life. Really I am, I'm trying to not be that way...

I want my friends and loved ones to help me, I want them to be there for me but when your alone for so long you don't know how to do something like that.

Man your my best friend, you share the same passion and dreams and determination that I carry.

You know what it's like to strive to the finish even if it turns out to something you didn't want.

To be honest I tell you more then anybody else here in this world, only you and Deanna know me truly compared to others, not even my closest family members know me as well as you do.

I know I've been tired and stressed out lately and I know I've been over working myself, I know because I can feel it everyday...

I know I'm not taking care of myself and I know I'm risking some things here but to be honest... That's what life is sometimes.

A risk...

One big risk after another and I'm willing to take it no matter what happens to me, I can care less about my earthly human body.

As long as I'm still breathing and as long as I can still pick up a pencil and write and draw and as long as I have you, Torey, Deanna and my soon to be born baby with me by my side forever... That's all I ever really need.

I feel like I only have one purpose in this lifetime and that's to draw and create new worlds for people to help them mentally escape this world and have some what of a slight comfort in their lives.

I love all you guys deeply and I would do anything for you all.

Brad I would take a bullet to the heart for you or anyone of you guys in my friends group.

You are a part of me, my real family, the family who really cares for me, the ones who understand me and that's very important to me.

I'm so grateful to have a dear friend such as you by my side, I'm touched I mean so much to you, I'm honored to have known you in this lifetime, in this world and I'll do anything to stick by your side till the end.

If you just so happen to reach your dreams before me, please never forget me and I want no charity though, I know your my friend and if your in the comic business before me, please don't put a good word in for me or try to help sneak me in.

This is something I've got to do for myself, I want to work hard and push myself to the limit until I reach my goals in life.

But if we bother get in together then that would be even better and promise me you wont turn a good offer down just because of me.

I'll always be your partner no matter what and I'll be there when you need me man.

I have a good feeling about us man, I know we'll go somewhere sooner or later, as long as we never give up, quitting is never an option and I would rather die trying and giving it my everything, putting all my sweat and blood into my craft and into my life and passion to live the way I would want to live then to just give up on myself.

I can't quit... As much as I want to and as good and easy as it sounds, quitting was never an option when it came to my life and my passion, it never ever will and as long as I'm able to draw or to create, I wont stop even if it kills me.

Comic

Well thing are gonna start get interesting in these last few pages.

FIGHT SCENE TIME!!!

Man I'm gonna have some fun working on this stuff, it was fun as it was to just draw it but to actually finish it now with the computer is gonna be great.

I had this guy tell me why is it taking me so long to finish the comic and then he followed on saying he could finish one in two hours.

Heh.. I would love to see that, for one that guy has no drawing talents at all and he has no idea of what all really goes into a comic.

Let me run this into your brain, the many steps and the process and tools you'll be taking and using for a comic book.

1. Story Plot - Your gonna need to making something totally different and outstanding to impress these people, not just readers, editors, publishers and retailers. They want to see how original you are and how well you can put together a story to not just entertain people but to make them money.

2. Character Designing - Your gonna need to come up with a list of all kinds of interesting characters for people to know and fall in love with. You'll need your antagonist and protagonist, characters they will like and characters they will love to hate, characters people can relate to or learn from.

After that you'll need to copyright them all which if you do in real life will cost you up to $35.00 or on the net to $30.00 per claim for each character and including your story.

We're not just talking about a drawing of them, a profile picture of the character. Front, back, both sides and whatever you can think up of.

3. You'll need these tools for getting started on your comic.

Tool 1. Sketch Paper - Most use 11x17 board but I use 11x8. (Don't get that cheap kind, get the good kind too.)

Tool 2. Sketching pencils.

(Each pencil is used for different reasons, the soft and hard led and the different sizes really count for smooth and accuracy.)

Tool 3. Ink Pins

(Each pen is to get that different look for your comics, different bold pens for close up objects and thin pens for far away objects. And trust me, these pens are not easy to master.)

Tool 4. Ink

(Your gonna want the blackest of all ink as possible so when you scan it, it picks up well on the computer. Pro white is to cover you mistakes.)

Tool 5. Light Box

(Incase you messed up something on the page and you can't erase it or fix it, this tool is made to place the original page below a new blank page and trace out what you had to go on from there and pass your mistakes.)

Tool 6. A LOT OF RULERS!

(You're gonna need to make straight lines in your comic, panels have to be done to the point it doesn't look like a little kid drew it out.)

Tool 7. Scanner/ Printer

(Your gonna need a good scanner and printer, nothing crappy that shows pixels or any bad quality.)

Tool 8. Adobe Photoshop and illustrator

(These are not cheap programs either, they are professional software and used for professional work only. Photo manipulating tools made for color correction, word balloons, coloring, lettering, pixel cleaning and more.
Do you have $700.00 to afford just one of these programs?)

Tool 9. Wacom Tablet

(You can't expect to just fix up and color all of your pictures on the comp with a mouse, your gonna need this bad boy for a real good touch and feel on things.)

Tool 10. Screentones

(You think you can just do that with pencil and pen? NO! This stuff is meant for comics, you need to apply this, this is meant for brining out backgrounds, clothing, skies and characters.)

After you get all of those supplies then you can move on to the next process of making your comic.

4. Penciling out your pages - Easy part there I wont lie, but your gonna have to do the whole thing.

5. Inking - Your gonna have to back over your pencil with ink now and darken it all in and add on more effects with different pens and brushes.

6. Scan it all in and photoshop it all in - Your gonna have to correct all the colors and make it 100% black and white and add in your colors or effects like screentones or word bubbles.

7. Print it out - Print it out in the best quality you can.

8. Put together a portfolio - Your gonna need all kinds of stuff to wow the publishers with.

9 . Submit - Now when your telling me to pitch something to a publisher your telling me to do my job here. I can't just send them in some half ass info with poorly drawn out sketches and no ideas for the things.

Your gonna need something to wow them with, you've got to show them you have this great idea and you know of a way to work with them and help make them some money while signing you a contract and hopefully help make you some money to keep your family and craft going.

10. If you get rejected, learn from your mistakes. (It happens all the time.)

Now tell me that you can put together a whole 35 page comic book in two hours and i'll be amazed, not even the most professional of all comic writers and artists can do that, it takes them up to half a year to a whole year to finish a project and make it on deadline.

Zach's Shenanigans

So what is the high and mighty Zach up to now these days?

Well I've recently watched the new Resident Evil movie in 3D. Yes... Resident Evil 4.

Great movie by they way, so far the best live action RE movie made, found no problems or flaws in this one.

They actually did a good job with bringing in the game characters and making it feel like the game, Wesker is a bad ass in this movie too, of coarse he's supposed to be.

They are finally brining in all the game characters and we're all hopping for Leon in the next one.

BTW the zombies look great in this one.

Nothing much going on, same as usual, busy and working.

Vent Then Petty

Todays subject will be on D.H.

I will not say the persons full name or describe who this person really is, just let you know their flaws.

This person was once a good person but recently has become a robot and kind of a smart ass.

He has been rude and inconsiderate and sexist.

But I DO understand how tough it might be being in this persons shoes having to make a lot of decisions and put up with everyone's BS and stress.

It's Been A while...

Comics

So I only have eight page left of the comic and I'll be getting in Adobe Illustrator and a new version of photoshop and other software here pretty soon.

My aunt and her girlfriend are being very supportive about things and I've always digged them and their work.

So yes I'm almost done with it and I'll be getting in more tools to help increase the quality of my work.

Sad news is I ruined my Bamboo Wacom tablet... It was a sad day for me. So many angry thoughts going through my little head, well needless to say my fiance was nice enough to let me barrow hers until I get things done and maybe get some more cash saved up on the side for another one.

My keyboard was jacked up but for some reason it's much better now, this is the price we pay when we spill hot coffee all over our equipment.

Come to think of it I'm gonna need to try out my tablet again and see if it was just wet, it may work now.

Zach's Shenanigans

So I've been getting headaches and lack of sleep again, more back aches and shoulder pains, of coarse this is nothing new to us man, we know what physical pain is like, we live in it constantly.

Other than being in pain I've been alright, trying not to stress out over drama, work, babies, friends and wedding preparations.

I filled out a new job app, I'll be filling out more just incase I don't get this one, I really need it though, I'll do anything to get this job I've recently signed up for.

Wish me luck on that, hopefully I'll get it.

Yesterday at work told me the truth about one of my managers, I always have this feeling he hates me and when a supervisor asked where I would be going to work at, (meaning: Which register should I work at.) He told him I will be going to hell.

Be both just kind of looked at each other and back at him and were like ok... He played it off as a joke or so he thought but I think we both knew he was showing off some feelings he actually felt about me.

I just blew it off because I could really care less of what a person thinks of me, so I simply said, "It's just because he doesn't like me.".

The manager quickly changes the subject.

*NEW* Vent Then Petty

So this is my new segment for for venting about people who are lazy no good quitters or people who are leachers and I'll vent first about them and then I'll do the thing we should all do and that's to show them some petty up in their lives.

So I'm gonna start with someone I wrote about loooong ago on my blog, I think I made a whole blog about him but things need to be released from my brain and if I don't then I'll go crazy.

I will not mention his name for respect for other peoples personal privacy.

I'll just call him (B.R.).

B.R. ... Man really I need to tell you this and I have no way of contacting you now days or getting face to face with you but I only have this way and I'll just have to hope you some how magically visit my blog and read this man.

Man what has happened to my friend I once knew a long time ago?
You've changed into someone I don't even like or know for the matter, you've become a quitter and a leacher.

For one your doing all of these drugs and you have to always bum money or a ride from someone and ask them for favors in which you can't return because let's face it you owe people including me money and our time we've wasted on you, we know we wont get it back too.

Second of all you can't even make an honest buck anymore, you either have to pirate things on the internet or sell drugs to make your money, you say you've looked for jobs but to be honest I don't think your really trying man...

Every time I'm around you, your always high as a kite on either pot or pills and your so high that your unable to do anything but pass out or fall asleep.

I talked to someone who you said you knew and he feels the same way, he also told me your being watched and to be honest I wasn't the least bit surprised when I heard that.

I'm not the only one who feels this way about you now or has seen this, many people that you and I know feel the same way and know how you are now.

And you know why we see this? Because we care about you.

I wouldn't say this if I didn't and I feel like I've lost an old friend of mine...

Someone I used to look up to and now he's dead, he hurts himself and what little does he realize is that he's hurting the people around him, the people who would bend over backwards for him and he's too stuck in hi sown little problem that he dosen't see it.

I know times are tough and life sucks but you can't be stuck in the past nor can you let it ruin your life and potentially ruin others.

I have a job, I work my butt off for what little money I make and not even get noticed for my hard work but I've got to do what I've got to do to live in this world and take care of my family.

Sadly I can't hang around you anymore until you clean up your life, I mean you have to really clean up your life because I'm about to get married and have a kid and I can't risk losing my life, my wife or my kid over something as stupid as drugs.

Drugs aren't the answer man, it may seem like it but it's really not, what good will it do?

Taking something to get a quick kick that only takes your money and life away isn't worth it, you need to be happy for what you've got and make the best out of it.

Take me for example and I'm not bragging but I'm working on my comics to hopefully make something out of myself and help get my dreams to come to life and help make a better future for myself and my family.

I do this because I want to be happy in life, I want to live and be successful before I die.

if your reading this, you may not understand and you might be mad at me but you need to take yourself out of your own little world and use your brain and think about your life and others around you.

I don't hate you man, I love you and I care for you and I want the best for you.

I'm only saying this because it breaks my heart to see you this way.

Please meditate on it and take in what I said for consideration.

You have so much talents and potentially good opportunities that could be happening for you right now but you can just expect them to just come for you, you have to work hard for them.

I mean hard, your life isn't over yet dude, your never too old to make a difference in your life and make things better for you and make those dreams of yours come true.

Comic Review

Freddy Vs Jason Vs Ash

Awesome book, neat idea and the concept behind is different but it's pretty cool seeing these guys come back to life or back from the dead.

Ash is now facing Freddy and Jason while their still having their own little dispute towards each other, Ash thinking these two guys are Deadites faces a new challenge as Freddy manipulates Jason to bring him the Necronomical to bring back the dead and to increase his powers to keep killing people and of coarse we will see time traveling in this one.

The photoshopping is great in this comic, I love the blood and guts, they did a beautiful job on that stuff.

Comics

Well me and my comic amigo Brad James had a great comic night tonight, we haven't hung out and worked on comics together in a long time and when we do it seems to help us out to improve and to learn more new and interesting things and move a lot faster on our work.

I got to work on my page and Brad got to work on his. Not only that but I was able to show Brad how to use the Bamboo Wacom tablet, I showed him how to use it and let him practice with it and I taught him a little bit about layers.

We've both talked about it and we've decided to save up five dollars each per every other paycheck and save up enough money for Adobe illustrator CS5.

This great and mysterious software to us is unbelievably pricy and we think if we team up and save up for a while putting in a small donation for only art supplies then we'll we can get some of the professional stuff that we need to make our comics.

Zach's Shenanigans

Well I've had an interesting day with my car, the lady and I had to reschedule our premiered concealing due to the fact my car is unpredictable at this moment.

I hate cars so much, they are nothing but a HUGE hole in your wallet.

Well turns out my ignition switch isn't clicking on all of my stuff in the car when I turn it on, today I drove to my fiances house with the aC not blowing and the windows up, not because I'm insane and love to sweat, no if you knew me you would know I'm not a person who is too fond of heat. I have to have AC.

Well the AC wouldn't blow out air and the windows wouldn't roll down, after switching cars with my dad and then switching back because my fiance couldn't ride in both of them we had to reschedule it.

So I went to go pick up my car to drive it by the shop real quick and when I turned it on, the AC would blow and the windows would roll down.

So I took it by thinking it might of been a bad fuse and to my surprise it's y ignition switch.

Comic Review

This Manga is a great manga if your a manga artist or even a comic artist, this tells you about all kinds of things you need to learn to become a little real with the whole comic world and it's industry.

Can't remember the characters names but these boys are crazy cool in every way, they both are relatable to me and my good friend Brad James.

Not really much of a review but I haven't finished reading this book but it's peeked my interest and I think this is one of those books to look into.

Three Days Of Comics

Well I have three days off in a row this week, three cool days.

Well the start wasn't so good, headaches took over my fun as I entered the city of Little Rock.

Today I went with my Fiance and her friend to go to the OBGYN to check on our developing child to be.

I have pics to show you all, can't wait to go again to be honest, I really want to see my baby better and moving.

Yes it isn't just poop or gas, might be a little sh%t at times in the future but dude I have a baby, my own flesh and blood.

So while working on the comic, I've been trying to get more done and I think I'm finally getting back on track with my work but I still need to get things done a little faster.

Lately I've been cranking it out hardcore, keeping my mind creative constantly by listening to some podcast episodes while working on the comic, I don't know what it is but I love podcasts shows, something about them keeps me creative.

Getting tired of some of the old shows that I've listened to every single episode at least over a hundred times.

Well I've been looking into some other jobs lately and hopefully things will work out because I really need this new change for a feeling of relief in my head and heart.

If I get this job I'll be cranking out hopefully 15 bucks an hour and I'll have set schedules and holidays and it seems to me like a great working environment.

This new job would be a blessing for me and my new family, you have no idea how great this would be.

I need all I can to take care of my baby on the way into this world.

I've noticed I havent' posted a new video of the week for you guys so I'll be changing formula on things now.

Before I get into the new stuff, this will be my last go at the old blog.

Well coming to the realization that I defiantly need to get Adobe Illustrator CS5, I don't have the money for it now but I'm really gonna need to get it, it's something that I'm gonna have to use on my comics and something I'm gonna have to learn to use properly.

Well I'm gonna go and get some more work done while listening to some creepy ghost stories, well I mean they sound creepy but at the same time I try to not let it get to me because I simply haven't got the time to waste to be scared.

So didn't work on the comic last night, did absolutely nothing people and I mean nothing.

The only thing productive I did yesterday was making a new song and finishing it in less then an hour.

You may think that might suck but actually I don't think it does and neither does others.

Or maybe it sucks and I just refuse to think it does.

Spent all night last night with my good buddy Brad James, we had a few drinks and killed a shit load of zombies all night long while listening to all kinds of great music.

It's been so long since I've played Resident Evil and I hardly ever play 5 but I've been kicking ass a lot lately on this game.

Let's face it... They made Resident Evil just for me, I've mastered that game like it was cheese.

I really kick ass with Wesker but man me and Brad played Mercenaries mode in the mines like a billion times and God we kicked ass ranking up points and shooting the crap out of zombies, big guys and huge bugs.

The amount of gameplay was amazing.

I have three days off this week so I should get a little more finished this week on the comic.

I've had to take a little break from the damn thing just because so much stuff in my life and head now days.

Slowly But Painfully

Welly-well-well-well.

Each page is being knocked out slowly but surly and very painfully.

Don't get me wrong I love comics but what I don't love is how much time it takes to make the thing.

A single page is getting longer and longer mostly because my time is no longer mine, it's like I'm living someone else's life while trying to prove to myself I still live just a little bit.

Well I'm getting ready for work, the place that I long to not be around for the rest of my life because of many reasons but for now I'm stuck in this nasty place.

But I promise I am still working on this thing.

Quitters, Leachers, Robots And Dreamers: Quitting Is Not An Option

I'm going back today on a subject I'm mostly interested in and that's on quitters.

Have you ever noticed one thing about them that they all have in common?

Besides being a quitter.... Their miserable, they may not think it or know it but you can tell that they are, you can tell.

I work with and for a crap load of quitters and it's depressing to see it all day long every day in front of your view, I know quitters who are friends or people in my family.

Most friends I have are not quitters because I like hanging around people with a creative ora on them that helps keep me motivated and what to do something with my life and make the best out of my talents and dreams.

I may not live in reality very much and that's because of one reason, it sucks terribly, everyone in this world sucks and everyone is either four things in my opinion.

1. A quitter

2. A leacher

3. A robot

4. A dreamer

Quitters tend to give up easily and have regrets for the rest of their lives and can also be a potential suicidal person, they work at a job they hate and they never get anywhere.

Leachers tend to be what we all know as either bums, druggies, crackheads, white trash or whatever else you want to call them, people who will abuse others, other people that love them or think they are their friend and yet all they are for them is an extra wallet or a way of transportation. They never have any money, they don't have a job and they abuse the system to get checks or cards in the mail will your hard earn money.

Robots are people who are successful business wise but other than that they care for no one but themselves and their money, they have no social life or friends, they are hated by hundreds maybe thousands of people and when it comes to potentially making their business look good, they fake just about anything. things like religion, donations, conversations, celebrations and more.

Dreamers are people like me, I am a dreamer. Dreamers are people who spend most of their time using their talents and gifts that were given to them and figure out all the possible solutions and ways they can use those talents to help benefit them and their family. They tend to make friends who have the same interests as them and go a lot after into creating something and taking that talent and help each other learn something new every time. They have to sty creative all the time to they can tend to be workaholics and people like Quitters, Leachers and Robots will never understand them or may never like them or want anything to do with them but Dreamers don't care about what others think about them, they do what they do.

So what are you? Really I mean sit down and actually look at yourself and see what you really are.

Man work is wearing me out to where I don't want to do anything...

Not only that but now I'm debating on having to get me another job, I'm hopping my girl will hurry up and sign up for medicaid and WIC because if we don't I'll be screwed over big time.

I'm the one who's making the money and I'm the one who will make all the money and lose it fast if we don't get on the ball with this stuff.

If that happens then there will be no way I can afford anything and I mean anything.

So I'm making minimum wage and hardly anything and if comics come through then there will be some extra help there but if I get another job then I'll have to say good bye to my whole life and what little sleep I get left.

I hope it doesn't come down to that but it's a serious situation and I'm doing all I can right now.

I know my girl is too but that's one of the two things I really want her to do ASAP because if we don't get it then there will be no way to afford food for the family or baby or pay for my car or anything.

I need to get to work on my comic but I'm so damn tired.

15 MORE PAGES!

Out of 35 pages I have 15 more pages to go to finishing this thing!

Well of coarse I'm gonna need to go over every single page once more and touch up some things like word bubbles, dialog and cleaning up a lot of little white pixels and different odd colors on the pages and making the pages 100% black and white.

This thing has been nothing but two things for me, one of coarse a pain in the neck and two a huge learning process.

Can't wait to get this thing finished and well on it's way to being read by people and can't wait to work on the next one with a team of people.

Work has been no help what so ever nor supportive of it and mainly because their stuck on themselves and care about absolutely no one and all they care about is making a huge deal over the smallest little things ever and working their workers to the bone and making their life depressing.

So as soon as I get this whole comic stuff done, I'm defiantly going to get some stuff done and try to get me a much much much better job.

One it will help if I had me some good pay that will help me support me and my family and what not but two it will help me out mentally if I had a decent working environment to work in.

I don't want to be known as the guy who does comics and works at a crappy minimum wage paying job as a cashier/ bagger.

That's a depressing title about me right now.

It's gonna help if I can start penciling out some pages for the next comic and just pencil them out while having other people help me out, this is gonna cut back a lot of work for me.

sorry I went off on a whole rant about my job but seriously it's something that's going to change, I'm not staying like this forever, things will change for the better even if I have to work my ass off.

Inconvenience Again.

So not only do I have to go to court again because they force me to but also comic and work wise.

So I'm not gonna get into the whole court thing this time it's basically the same thing I went through last time, sit in a cold room behind thugs, prisoners and around druggies.

But comic wise, I wasted a whole hour cleaning up sweet tea on my keyboard, computer, wacom tablet and a few mac disks.

That took a pretty good while for me to get the tea cleaned up and the stickiness off of everything.

A lot of swearing and idiotic behavior coming from me, mostly for two reasons.

1. I don't want to ruin anything because all this stuff it landed on is NOT cheap or replaceable.

2. It stopped me from working on the comic for a while.

But I made up for it, it's looking good now, I only have two layers left of this page to finish and I'm gonna spend the res of this time playing pokemon.

The Day

So yes I completed a page today and theres some things I'll need to get back on soon with the two pages ahead of this new one I'm now working on.

Schedule is going according to plan and theres some changes being made but still going pretty decently well.

Just had my dad come in my room randomly asking me when I'm gonna finish this comic and I admit it kinda ticked me off because I'm sooo sick of hearing that same question over and over again from people.

For one people I'm doing the best I can with what I can and I'm doing it all on my own.

Two: You try making a comic and putting the whole thing together and see if you can finish it in a day, it's hard work.

Three: I have a lot of stuff I have to conceder here, for one I have to do this right, I can't just do it and go it's done.

It's like telling a reporter to do a quick report and you think they can get all the info they want in a day. NO! That stuff takes time, you have to make sure you get all of the correct info for people so you wont feed them all lies.

So when you telling to do something your telling me to do my job and that's what I'm doing.

If only you people knew.

Trying to find some movies.

So I have no idea what these movies are called but I think I remember the plots pretty well.

Keep in mind I watched these movies when i was a little kid.

So yes these movies are old movies.

1st movie.

This girl with a weird looking clown puppet goes to this location that's pretty far up in this sort of abandoned location and meets with this one guy but turns out no one is there and the front door shuts on her and she's trapped in there for I think days but it may just be a day but weird shit happens to her while she's there.

Things in the room change around and creepy ass dolls talk to her and theres some random dude dead in the other room and then he's gone.

The stupid grandfather clock keeps going off every hour and when it goes off weird shit happens, she tried to get peoples attention by banging on the big sound proof and bullet proof glass window and only one guy looks up at her and walks off.

After all of that she passes out on the be where the dead guy once was and her little clown puppet moves by it's self and rubs it's hands on her face while talking to her and she ends up being found by the police.

(I have no idea if all of that will make since to anyone but that's what all I remember from the movie when I was a kid.)

2nd Movie.

These people who I guess do puppet shows and have no idea where they are at, somewhere in some office but thy move this desk or file cabinet and found a little door, they open it and of coarse one of them goes in the dark and weird tunnel and get's sucked in and next thing you know we see through someone else's point of view.

I can't remember much but they figured out in time it's some guy maybe an actor but they figured out that they are able to control this guy if they try really hard.

They end up controlling this dudes life and making their wildest dreams and desires come true through this one guy.

Of coarse nothing good lasts forever and whoever goes into that tunnel ends up somehow falling on the side of a highway and that's the end of the tunnel.

Until they go back of coarse.

Well at the end a bunch of people go in that little door and it's not so good for the dude.

(That's the best I can remember from watching it as a kid.)

So I've been doing pretty good lately on the comic but today I'm just having one of those days where it's hard to stay interested in the comic.

As much as I blame myself I also blame the internet.

So I'm gonna push myself today to at least get a page done and start preparing the next page and I might just have me a little lazy day today.

I'm pretty much half way done with the damn thing and I think I might have me a month in a half of work ahead of me.

Moving On

So I'm moving a little faster and faster everyday, I'm not making anything sloppy or anything like that, I just don't have a whole lot of time left and I have so much crap, useless crap and other crap that I have to pay for.

Hopefully I DO get published because that would be great to makes some money doing what I love doing and it would help me out in the long run because I'm the only one working at this point and I'm getting married and having a baby so I'm gonna do all I can to help do my part but damn...

Time just keeps ticking and people keep getting more and more annoying and my privacy is slipping further an further away from me.

Thankfully I was able to fly past a few of these last few pages in a week and I'm hopping to knock out these last pages as fast as possible.

I have 17 pages 97% competed and I'm finishing up page 18 now and theres only 35 pages in this whole thing.

Not only that but I still have some things I need to get out of the way before sending this thing off, things that will cost me more money and hopefully it will turn out to be a good investment.

Family, loved ones and work has completely ignored my free time now and it's like my free time is no longer important and I'm getting to the point to say fuck you all.

I'm stressed out as it is, I'm doing my jobs, I'm doing the best I can with what I can to get by and at the same time not giving up on myself, what more do you people want from me, what more can you possible expect from me?

Let me do what I got to do to get by, I know theres things that need to get out of the way but I'm not going to spend all of my valuable precious time wasting my whole day away on things that I don't even need to be there for.

Maybe it's easier for others to just throw away their dreams and goals or set them all to the side and let the world eat up all their time to where you finally wake up and go, holly crap, I wasted my whole life away.

BUT I'M NOT THAT WAY.

Not to be rude, be means, sound like a dick or to piss people off but when it comes to a point to where you can't respect my own personal privacy and let me do the things I gotta do to get by then we're gonna have problems.

I'm a person who has to work all the time, I do my time at work, working for theses ridiculous people and putting up with all of these miserable rude people making that money that wont help pay for these bills but at the same time I'm doing what I've got to do with my time and talent to make something for myself and maybe make something to help me support my family and my sanity.

Well I guess this was just me blogging/ venting today.

It feels good to get out some of this stress and emotions sometimes, it helps me relieve myself before I go into work and before I go back into the crappy world out there and put up with all of these nasty people.

Not that I'm complaining about my job I have now, yeah I don't like it but it's a job and it's all i have right now, I just put on that fake smile and suck up to those people and try to get by the day while doing a good job.

Well gonna go now, gotta get ready for work... They didn't give me anytime today to go to church today so tat pisses me off.

I think that's terrible when your work wont give you time off to go to church, gonna have to spit in someones face about that and when I mean spit I mean talk.

The Process Of Working On A Comic

So now theres another person who wants to photoshop fro the comic but I was told this other person wasn't so good at it, we'll see.

I can't just put anyone on this thing.

So the process of working on a comic is a long and stressful and boring thing, some of you think it might be exciting and it's really not.

Yeah I love drawing but after doing it for so long, you get kind fed up with some things.

So first I come up with a character and sub-characters in the story then I make up a plot and write out the story, after that story is done I send it to my fiance who will edit it and make sure I don't look like an artard while drawing this thing out.

Then I take it one page at a time and draw out what I wrote out.

Usually I write my stories with incredible detail so I can remember what was going on through my head at that time.

While I pencil out all of the pages I scan out the pics and send them out to Brad who is now my official inker.

He prints it out and inks it on a special type of sketch paper, (Walmart paper) and will scan it and send it to me or to our new crew mate and hopefully photoshopping partner Christina who will adjust the colors in the page making it 100% black and white and begin photoshopping it all.

That includes screentoning the characters with little repeatable patterns and images to help bring out the color and feel of the comic.

Then she will take the page and shade it, I shade with my black brush set to the opacity of 27% but she might have a different way of doing it.

Or she might just stick with what I do because we need to to look like it's own style.

After she finish all of the pages and I put in all of the word balloons and dialog I print it out on board paper and I'll get ready to send it off.

All of this work can take up roughly around a year or more or less depending on everyone.

There you go, theres the magic behind making a comic.

Artistic Atmosphere

So before I get into the topic I want to share with you all today, I have some exciting news about the comic.

We have a new and potentially official photoshopper for the comic now.

Christina Fili will be joining us on our next comic, I will be finishing up this first one and we will get her started just as soon as we get a few things out of the way.

So yay for our new teammate!

Ok moving on to the topic of the day....

How do I get into the moment of working on my comics and stuff.

Well for starters I have to put myself in the mood to want to work on it, if not I would be playing video games all day long or just browsing the internet and hardly doing anything productive at all.

So to start myself out I will turn on my iTunes and open up some podcast of some time, usually I listen to a lot of motivation stuff, when I say that I mean podcast either about people who are creative and doing well in their talents and making something of their self or a lot of comic podcast.

As much as I love comics I don't really like listening to most comic podcast shows mainly because of how depressing they are.

I can't stand listening to shows were the publisher or some artists or fans are saying how the comic industry is dyeing and how they need to step it up a notch.

I just like listening to the artist or publishers when they talk about how they did some things what they've learned in the process of working on that comic or things they learned to do or not to do.

So to work on a page it might take me several days because of lack of free time and being lazy.

But this stuff defiantly keeps me motivated.

Comic Info

So it's been a few days since I've actually took the time out of my life to work on the comic and I was able to finish a page in less then a day.

I maybe getting faster but I'm not sure that's what the case was in this page, mostly having to due to the fact that I didn't have a whole lot of layers in this page.

But over the time of trying to work on the comic and doing wedding stuff and going to mountains in hot Arkansas weather, getting ready for a baby to come in this world, paying for a shit load of doctor bills and looking at all kinds of houses.

I've been having people talking to me about the comic.

One of the things is this guy I know who is totally excited to see my work, I've been trying to keep him on the edge of his seat but it's hard to make people understand how hard it really is to do a whole 35 page comic book on your own.

I think I'm moving pretty fast for someone who is by himself for now but you have to remember there is a lot of work that goes into a comic, I have a lot of artwork in different panels to catch up and a lot of things I'm still learning.

Not only that but I have a whole shit load of other projects I've been working on or meaning to work on but I'm trying to not overwhelm myself.

BUT!

I have had some people asking questions and I don't always have a good answer for them but I'll try to do that now.

Q1: How long does it take to do a whole comic?

A: It really depends on how many people are working on it with you and how big the comic is. You have to keep in mind as well we have things going on in our life as well.

Q2: How long does it take to do a page?

A: Penciling out a page can take up to a day or two for me but that's only because I've improved on my speed and certain tricks. Inking can take up to three days or maybe a week depending on how busy you are and how detailed the comic is. Photoshopping can take up for me at least a day or three to finish.

Q3: What are some ups and downs to working on a comic all by yourself?

A: Well there is a whole list of ups and downs but the ups, you defiantly learn a lot of different things and improve on a lot of your different skills of making a comic, I got to learn how to write, pencil, ink and photoshop. The down is it can be really frustrating at times and you have to remember to take your time and don't push yourself, have fun doing what you love to do. That and it took me five years to get where I am now and let's face it, people do NOT want to wait five years for a comic to come out and neither will a publisher, so please for your sake... Find a team of people who can do different things on the comic to lower the amount of work you do in your spare time.

Q4: What are so regrets you've had about the comic?

A: That I did everything by myself...

Q5: What are your plans for the comic your working on now?

A: I planning on making a four part series to this book, if I can't get it published by some of the publishers I've been planning on sending it to then I'm gonna try to make it into a web comic. I've put too much work into this comic to not let anyone read it.

Q5: So is this comic only about about the character killing random people?

A: NO! This is one of the biggest mistakes I've seen a lot of people make while looking through the comic. This comic is not about just random killing and making it at violent as possible, there is a story and it just starts out in the second part of the story where your kind of confuse such as the character himself. If you pay attention you WILL notice a plot building up.

Q6: Have you met anyone in the comic industry yet?

A: No I haven't, I've heard that certain people who are in in locally have heard my work and is interested in seeing it and they could possibly help me out or give me a few tips and pointers here and there but no actual contact.

Back To Comics

So I know I've been a little depressing lately and sorry for all of that, i'll slap myself later for that.

Well the comic is still in the photoshopping process, my only prob is I'm doing this all by myself when in reality I NEED a team.

I have my future wife and I have Brad but I need a photoshopper.

This is the bad thing about being a independent comic book artist in the beginning.

So I'm looking around now for some talents and i'm gonna have to try and not be so picky.

I'm looking for someone who can take the time out of their day for a little comic work.

I just need them to sort of give it the look I'm looking for and keeping it it's own feel and style.

I've recently talked with an old buddy of mine who really digs my work and is urging me to get this comic done so he can read it and get it out there.

Personally I'm excited I have a few fans and some people who are willing to help me but according to James he has talked to the Autobot comics guy, can't remember his name at the moment and he talked to Mitch Breitweiser who is in the Marvel industry working on the Captain America comics.

From what he told me and made it sound was he felt interest in my work and is willing to give me a shot and help me.

Surprise!

Well me and the Fiance are gonna get married earlier than we planned and a lot of things like our dreams, goals and ambitions are gonna have to go to hold for now...

This is what happens when you have unexpected surprises coming your way.

I just hope I can finish this comic before nine months are up, if I can't then I have some problems.

Not saying this surprise is a bad thing but it's defiantly a big middle finger to the face in a lot of ways.

For one me and Deanna wont be able to get married on top of a mountain like we wanted to and I wont get to take her to Okinawa Japan for our honeymoon and a lot of our dreams and projects are gonna have o be put on hold and comics are gonna move a little slower for me now.

So I may end up like the rest of those people who never reach their goals in life.

Sorry to sound all depressing, I'm not trying to look at it as a bad thing or blame myself but this is all new to me, I'm scared and I can't help it.

So many changes and broken dreams and plans are happening to us both and my girl has to drop out of collage now because of this and I feel awful that she has to drop out of collage.

I feel as though I crushed her dreams too and it makes me wonder if I've become one of those people who just crush their own dreams along with other peoples dreams.

Sorry if I'm so negative, like I said I'm trying to remain positive but I have a lot of negative thoughts just as much as the positive ones and I feel as though I need to vent them out because they are driving me bonkers.

I' gonna try to make it all up to us, I'm gonna try and make it up to my girl and make sure she finishes collage one of these days and get the kind of job she needs or wants and hopefully bring all of her dreams to life.

I want to keep the promise to myself too, I have way too many dreams and goals and I'm not gonna let something like this completely stop me.

Yeah it's gonna be harder for the both of us but if my girl and I remain strong and help each other then I think we'll work something out just fine.

So I spent most of my free time besides resting filling in walls on the comic.

I'm thinking about just doing two or three layers a day.

Like walls, character and sky.

That's not gonna be the real order of it but that's the example of how I do my layers.

It feels pretty good photoshopping my recent artwork, breath of fresh air.

I'm needing to get back to drawing out another page for the next comic.

Lately I've been more concerned getting this first one finished but at the same time I kinda want to be ahead of myself to get this whole story out much faster.

So i'm working in my spare time on a book, a novel actually, something that takes a certain type of genre of books and makes fun of them.

Hopefully this book will cross all boundaries in the first page and if it does then I'm hitting a goal.

Well crap it all dawned on me Brad, if we're opened to move in the apartments this Wednesday and you have no job at the moment... We're ironically screwed man.

So I'm taking a little breather from photoshop.

Gonna start penciling out the second comic.

I gotta keep myself on track and stay interested in the comic at all times.

Lately my problem with comics is I want to get this comic done but at the same time my interest is else where.

Well I'm actually working on two at the moment but there will be a lot more coming later.

So my dad just gave me some old graphic novel trades he collected back in his day.

They aren't in good condition but oh well, a comic is a comic and it's meant to enjoy.

Theres a crap load of good old classic comics.

Man I couldn't get a song out of my head all day and I finally found the full version of it.

I can't help it, I admit I like Elton John's work, the man can hit some good vocals at times and I just like this song because in some kinda of a wait it reminds me of Tom Petty's song Cabin Down Below.

I have no idea why but this song has me right now.

I was singing that song and I found me a new way to project my voice for some new songs.

No it wont sound like Elton John, it's different from all the other stuff I've done.

Dude the comic is still going slow but only because this page I was working on was new and a confusing experience.

But all is well now and I think I've got me a much better way of working on this comic.

This will cut down the many hours and time I will have to spend or worry about and I hate worrying about a comic.

I would rather just take a crap on a page and call that the cover of my comic.

Ha! Note to self...

No but really. Some of this learning stuff is pretty interesting.

It's pretty cool how much stuff you learn while working on a whole comic book.

And I am proud of my creation no matter what happens, I'm gonna see it to the finish and I WILL have people read it and critic my work.

This will only help me improve.

Still gonna try and submit though, no use in not saying I tried.

That's better than giving up.

Gonna work on the comic today, I'm finally getting this whole layering system down now.

It's kinda nice having the privilege to be a little careless with going out of the line and not worry about it.

One thing you'll learn while working on comics is you will try to make everything easier for yourself and yet at the same time it will still look good or even be better than the pages before.

Well since this is my actual first comic I've put a lot of thought and time into, I realized something.

Every single page makes a huge leap at improvement that it's been hard for me to edit this stuff.

I'm at a much different point no on my art work that some of these first couple of pages look kinda foreign to me.

Recently I've got to take a little break from my own comic and worked on a political comic for some people.

I got to work with my fiance, I didn't do any artwork or anything but if I ever get the opportunity I would.

I just did some blurring, shading and added in the word bubbles and dialog.

Didn't write it, copy and paste lol.

Well I'm gonna go.

So as a comic artist, not a freelancer yet but working there, if you are trying to get yourself into the same situation then you'll know about the downs of trying to reach that field.

Some start a little early and have some success and some don't.

I've been working on this comic for a loooooong time now and I'm hopping this comic becomes a starting path for something good.

Today my work set me off, I'm sitting here playing Zelda: Link To The Past and I get an early phone call from my work.

Normally I don't mind staying an hour late past my actual time to leave but lately they have been abusing my kindness.

These people have no concept of life.

For one I don't ever want to be there and what makes you think I want to be there an hour past my time to leave. The time that I was given on my schedule.

These people actually have the nerve to give you an extra hour without asking you and expect you to fulfill in their demands and this is the second time this week they have been trying to get me stay past my time to leave.

Look people I have a life and I need to fulfill it and not spend my entire existence there at work around a bunch of idiots.

Honestly it's a terrible working environment because of the managers, supervisors, lazy employees and rude/ dumb customers.

Here I am sitting on this thing venting about it on my blog when I should be spending my time working on my comic but no... I wont have enough time to actually do anything productive on the comic.

So I figure I get out some of my anger now before I go into my hell and clock in and be around all these nasty people I don't want to have anything to do with.

The comic is going good, SLOW but good...

I'm on page ten now and theres thirty-five pages of this thing.

God I can't wait to get this thing done....

I haven't had much time alone to spend time on the comic lately.

My schedule is a mess right now and everyone thinks they have the right to constantly get in my way.

When I mean people I mean everyone except for Fiance, she comes before my comic.

Brad your not a problem either incase your reading this.

BUT I'm gonna go, gonna get ready for let downs and lies, broken promises, crap and everything else in the book.

Comic Stuff

So the comic is coming a long well, a little slower than I anticipated but oh well, at least it's still being worked on.

So I'm defiantly going to redo one page on here and it's only because the artwork bugs the crap out of me.

Every time I look at it I'm like "Oh God what are you doing?" and it has to be redrawn.

Some people think I shouldn't do it and personally I know it's not a big deal to them and I know the page has potential but it's to the point to where it bothers me.

It's just this one page, I'm not gonna make a whole lot of changes I swear.

Apple Products

So Apple products are pretty good and all but for some reason they don't last very long compared to other products.

Had to buy me a new mouse today. The one I had started to mess up, the scroller wasn't working very well and then it just kind of gave up on me.

Same thing happened to my Fiance's mouse but I had to get me another one, I decided to go for a Logitech mouse because they aren't that bad and the Logitech products work well with the Mac.

This mouse is crazy man, it's so smooth, it's actually hard to control the courser because the lazar is so strong.

It's nice to have a strong decent mouse again, I DO like the apple mouse too but this one is ten times smoother.

Some of you might be thinking, "Zach why do you need a scroller when you can just manually do it yourself?".

That's just not good enough for me, I need it for photoshopping my comics.

As for the comics, it's coming along ok but looking back at some of this old art work makes me want to throw up.

Looking at the old art work makes me wonder if it will get picked up by a publisher, I mean some of this looks like it was drawn out by a six year old.

If I can keep myself from wanting to redo some pages it would be a metrical.

I dunno, hopefully something will happen for me, if not then I'll figure out something.

I know some people say it's nothing to worry about but I'm not sure, you don't know how much it's killing me photoshopping these old pages.

Well other things have been getting in the way of working on the comic and it's only because I get bored really easy and fast.

I have so many things I want to say and do that it's hard to just stay focused on one thing right now.

I should be working on the comic but I want to blog so badly... This shows you how interested I am in the comic right now.

HEY! I've spent five years of my life working on this stupid thing, I am so close to finishing the first one and I think I have the right to lose interest in working on it every once in a while.

Not saying I'm giving up on my comic, oh God no!

No I'm planning on getting this stupid thing finished and over with, I'm just really anxious to finish it and work on other stuff.

Well other stuff, I think my website has reached it's ban-with because it's not letting me update it and this is the really gay part about it because that means now I have to either pay for the stupid site or remove some stuff from the site.

Oh well... I'll figure something out one of these days.

Yeah so the Zach is sick today...

I'm not one of those types of people who just lay in bed all day long when their sick, I stay up and drink lots of water and keep myself busy.

So I had to call in today and get off of work, there was no way I would humiliate myself in front of customers and other employees.

So me and the lady must have eaten or drank something that made us both sick.

It started last night and it hasn't stopped yet...

I'm gonna be completely honest with you all and I've got the balls to say it.

Who here hates crap in their pants? Now who here hate runny burning crap that came from hell in their pants?

Well guess who else does too... This guy.

Yeah theres no way I'm gonna go to work and risk making a duke in front of everyone.

Well the comic process is still under go, I'm having one of those slow moments...

And I'm trying to adjust to working with others on my comics... It's weird and scary.

I'm trying really hard getting these pages done at a specific time but being able to stay focused on them and between that and getting sick, it's just a little complicated.

No I haven't forgotten about you precious blog of mine.

Sigh... Not really a bad day today, just at home, chilled as a cucumber and drawing in photoshop.

I've finished the 5th page of the comic in photoshop, now I just gotta get it sent to the lady.

Not sure if she's been working on the comic, she has a lot of things going on for her as well, not sure if I should mention them but if your reading you can tell us on here.

I have Brad inking out the second page still, he's had a lot of stuff going on too.

I've been thinking I might need more people, well just for speed wise, everyone is getting so busy with so much that it's kinda slowed us all down for the moment, it wouldn't hurt to have like back up or something like that, just incase if one person is too busy, send it to someone else to do it or something like that.

That way it moves the process a little faster and it wont stress people out as much.

I've also have been working on the next comic, I finished penciling out the first page and I'll be sending it off to Brad as soon as I get at least a little more pages drawn out.

That way I'm a little a head of things and Brad will have all these things he can catch up on while I'm cranking out other stuff.

Plus I've been thinking about printing stuff as well.

For one I'm not gonna print it out on normal printer paper, I will have paper devoted to comics only and paper devoted to computer use.

Well I've been sitting here thinking on it long and hard and I'm really thinking about making a web comic.

I have no idea of how to go about w web comic, I'm sure it's not so different then what I'm doing now.

Well the reason be is because I'm so desperate to getting other stuff out there other than just what I'm working on right now.

Theres so many things I want to draw, do and say before it's too late and I think these little web comics and quick side projects will be fun and hopefully a stress reliever from the comic.

I dunno, I have no idea when something like this is gonna start up but there is thought to it all and we'll go from there.

The Next Book

Wow so I'm actually learning some new things through this new book which is the continuing chapter of my comic I've been working on.

So while photoshopping the first one, I figure the smartest thing to do is pace myself, if one day I don't feel like photoshoping the first one I start drawing out the second one.

This way I don't get bored, I stay interested, I learn more things and I get the next book done a lot faster for deadlines.

That's if I get deadlines, I have no idea if this thing will get published but I'm gonna give it a shot.

I'm just having fun doing this and when it's finished I DO want people to read it and get their input on it so I can learn more interesting things and improve in my craft.

Improvement is the first step.

Even if I wasn't making money on this thing which is fine with me, I just want people to read it, I made it for people to enjoy it and criticize it.

I'll make sure I get the whole thing finished no matter what.

This is my duty as a comic artist, a artist with dreams and hopes.

As a comic artist, I want to enjoy doing what I do when I do it and how I do it.

So I am trying to get used to just drawing out in the panels and leaving out world balloons, there will be dialog but let me explain first.

So in the first comic, I drew out all the word balloons by hand and wrote in them by hand.

This is gonna make it hard for me but oh well.

But I've came up with a brilliant strategy to fix it all during both the photoshopping process and drawing process.

Well i'm gonna jet, gotta get up early tomorrow and go to court, I have to testify, I don't wanna go but if I don't I would be arrested.

I'm not in trouble with the law I swear.

More Comic Stuff

So I've been listening to a song well a lot of songs over the time and it made me realize what this comic is missing.

The true character, we have no idea who he is in this first comic, all we know is he's a killer and a lot of crazy shit happen to it and it's funny but the character himself is the reason for the story.

He's supposed to be a sad character, someone you wouldn't want to relate to, someone who is being manipulated and used for someone else's purposes other than their own and they do it out of fear.

So the next comic will be starting up tomorrow for sure, I wanna get a good heads start on it.

Cramping The Craft

So I've been photoshopping about four pages now and I am getting faster but at the same time I'm getting burned out really quick.

So I'm gonna continue the project and get a head of the game and start drawing again.

I'm gonna go a head and work on the next comic here in a day or two.

Drawing has always been a part of me and I'm starting to miss that, I haven't drawn in a while and this will help me stay interested in the comic so if I don't feel like photoshopping, I'll just go over to my other table and draw out a page.

Plus I have a lot of interesting ideas I want to throw in the next comic plus now that I have me a team, I fell this will go by a lot faster.

Why am I not spacing these?

OK so over the time of working at my "job" aka a f&#king mad house, I've come to realize I work with a bunch of retards.

It's bad enough that most people are lazy both while working and when on their break, people there do NOT know how to throw something away in the trash cans and I'm just sitting here wondering to myself... How is it so hard for people to make the quick effort to pick up their own mess, and put it in the trash cans when walking out from their break?

We're talking about grown adults!

has this world become so lazy that no one does anything anymore? You see... This is why America doesn't deserve some of the privileges we have sometimes.

Don't get me wrong, I love America, land of the free and opportunity, at least that's what it was but since our country is NOT like that anymore and it's full of fat lazy slobs laying around the whole world being brained washed by TV, internet and radio, we've become our own enemy.

We've gave in to our Government, we now serve them even though they should serve us, we fear them when they should fear us, we came over here to not pay taxes and here we are taxing all of our hard earned dollars.

Where am I going with this patriotic speech?

So back to my topic of the day, smackers get on my nerves so bad, I don't want to here your disgusting lip smacky sounds coming from your mouth.

Finally Comic Stuff

So I've been venting for a while now, well it's been healthy for me, the more I vent about it, the more I think about it and the more of ideas I get in my noodle.

OK Zach shut up about venting and let's talk about COMICS!

Soooo.... What to tell you all today....

Well I've been having to push myself with the comic now, not that I'm not interested or anything but because I've been tired lately, work has been sucking up all my time lately, I'm actually glad I get the take the day off of work, all I gonna do today is relax, look at my new apartment and finish signing out the form and hang out with my lady today.

Yeah I'm gonna do some more comic stuff today, but I'm not gonna jump right in it.

But this photoshop stuff has been interesting, not really fun but interesting for sure.

So get this, I'm now going over the third page of the comic with photoshop, this page in the first page of my old art work.

This makes it interesting and yet hard for me because I'm having a hard time to apply the shading on the old character designs, plus I'm having to makes some minor touche up, try to cache up the art work.

Let's face it, at the time I was kinda bad at drawing my character, he looks so weird in most of these pages and some of the panels, he's messed up looking and it makes it hard for me to photoshop.

But at the same time where there are challenges, there are improvements.

So heres what I did,I took one panel last night, this panel my character had a neck, he doesn't have a neck... So a neck would make things just a little complicated for me.

So I thought about it and thinking to myself, how am I going to fix this up?

So instead of having to re draw the whole thing, I decided to play with the character's body and I couldn't stop...

I started yo apply so much detail, body and facial hair and all that crap.

It looks nothing like my art work but it's hilarious, I might fix it up a little more but the little filler character in the panel, just to carry on the joke of the matter, I'm gonna make him his own dialog.

You'll see, it's great.

Looking at the next page, it looks like I'm gonna have just one panel that's gonna make it tough for me but the rest looks fine, so I'll be sure to do the best I can with it.

Pretty cool... OH! And my girl is gonna be doing some cleaning up on the page today.

This is gonna make it ten times faster for me, while she's taking care of all the pixels and small minute details that need to be fixed, I can work finish on another page and send it, start on the next.

Also the next continuing comic should move ten times faster as well.

I have my good busy as my inker now, he's getting faster at it too and I know he can make the comic look good.

So now I actually have me a team, OH! I have another person who wants to work on it so I thinking on giving her a chance too. She wanting to do clean up but I'm thinking something else.

Well I've gotta go, pigs gotta fry and I need to jet.

You bastards... How dare you waste my money on filthy shit like that!

You selfish, lazy, poor excuse of flesh, get your ignorant ass off of that couch andDO something about it like I don't know... Get a job....

That means clean up your life, quit the drugs or whatever the hell your mental disease is and make something out of yourself.

You know how sick I am of seeing all of you people who DO not need that money in the first place and YOU know who you are you piece of aids.

You can choose to stay pissed off at me forever and I wouldn't one bit less of a shit then to ever care about you.

It's one thing to F%$k the system over but to f&2k with me and my money, you've brought a whole new low to humans.

No one needs my money or anyone else's money but that person themselves, if you don't work you don't get paid and if you don't get paid, you don't eat.

Guess what kiddies!

It's time for me to do my daily venting, I shant let you down... Yes I know I said shant and I meant shant.

Shant... F*$k yeah!

Sooooooo a long long time ago there was this girl who liked me, this was back in let's see I'm thinking 8th or 9th grade.

This really sucked for me for simply one fact... She's a disaster to herself...

I mean for on it's because she doesn't take very good care of her self and for two she has BO.

Now she is a little over weight and nothing like that has ever stopped me from liking someone so that wasn't the reason.

Now another thing, you all know that if someone likes you, that's just not how it works, that person has to like you back, for one I didn't like her in that kind of way because for one she was an acquaintance, someone you know but you have some issues with.

She was in my personal opinion a fake, someone who cares about their outer personal appearance and does things to fit in with a crowd.

And another thing this woman did was back when I was in school, this girl told people I mean people I didn't even know and people I did know that we were dating!

HOLY CRAP!

Ok so I want to see the logic behind all of that, she goes and tells the whole school that we're dating only because I talked to her?

Yeah I knew she liked me and I offered her hugs at that time because I was that nice of a guy, I mean who doesn't like a free hug?

Wel at that time I was around a large group of people who gave everyone hugs and hugs at that time was well accepted and now that times of changed, hugs will get you a beat down.

Get this!

So after several months go by and I'm minding my own business, probably doing something amazing like nothing.

Well this girl decides to find out where I lived, she had her mom drive her over to my house, she rang my door bell, me being the kind of guy that I am, I didn't answer the door to people I hardly know, only to friends NOT acquaintances, I don't know you and coming over to my house with out any sort of awareness what so ever, this girl takes off and I go outside to se if she was gone, she left a note on my door, well actually like eight notes.

WTF!?

Damn you really think I'm gonna read all of that? ... I did.

All of those notes scared the hell out of me...

This girls spills her heart to me tells me personal info and tells me she does all of this crap I don't need to know.

Then she tells me how much she loves me... How do you love me? LOVE?!

Look I know we all are supposed to love everyone but this girl was head over hills in love with me, well tried letting this girl that I wasn't in love with her, she isn't my type of person because I have nothing to relate to her and for the fact I had someone in my life at that time.

Well when I meant someone in my life, I mean an online long distance relationship :P

Well so as time goes by and this sexy man get's older and weaker HA!

I found me my beautiful chick, my girl who is kick ass!

I mean she's cool as heck and I totally relate to her, she has a plan in life, she's real to others and she's so sweet and it's like she's me in a female way.

But with better features that I wanted to see in myself that I loved about her.

We've always had this sort of thing for each other over years, since Junior High and High School.

So now we're engaged.

Well where am I going with this? I'LL TELL YOU SO F&*K OFF MAN!

So I've recently seen this girl several times since then, I've come to find out she's married and all and I felt relieved that maybe since a lot time passed us by, she was finally able to get out of her purgatory and move on.

This girl still stares at me, she's all ways eyeballing be when I'm out shopping with Deanna or working or if I hanging around with a friend.

Dreams And Talents

Here's a little something to think about for a night and I want to challenge you all to actually do this.

You would be amazed with yourself.

Here's my number one question for you tonight, this question will become the equation to all of your other questions.

Are you living your life?

What do you mean Zach?

I'm talking about are you happy with all the choices you've made in your life?

Are you standing where you would like to be standing now?

Are you satisfied with what you are now?

If no then oh man, guess what people, I've got something for you all.

Sit back, relax, wipe away those tears, put down that cigarette or whatever it is that takes up your time.

I mean shut off that music or put that youtube on pause or stop watching that TV and open your mind with me for a second.

One!

What is your dream? What is your passion? What is your gift?

Everyone has one and don't lie to yourself, let me ask you this, what was one or two things in your life while growing up you loved devoting your time to other than just wasting time?

Well check this out, you maybe something big with just that small gift that you have, it's called your freaking imagination and what is made with imagination?

Creation, anything is possible and anything you think of has an opportunity to be real.

Let me give you an example of what I mean...

While growing up as a kid what I most admired doing while growing up through out my youth was drawing, I loved it and for some reason I just couldn't stop it, I soon realized that the more I drew and the more I challenged myself and dedicated my time to it, the better I got.

Back then I couldn't of drawn the things I desperately wanted to and theres a lot of different things I still can't draw and would love to do it one day.

Take it baby steps at a time, devote at least one hour of something you enjoy doing in your spare time and challenge yourself to improve in what you do.

You'll figure out how to do it if you really tried, if your that determined and passionate about what you love to do then you'll learn so many things that you would be amazed at finding out.

Over this past year while working on my comic I have learned over maybe and honestly over a hundred things, things I should do and things I should NOT do.

I've learned that nothing is impossible if you actually use that thing in your head that you call a brain.

Now that you know some of these things theres the next step and feel free to do this daily, it's healthy for you as a human, a creature who has a soul, a creature who has so much power and so much more than what other creatures don't have.

Next, find yourself some jobs that may consists in what you love doing.

Example, you love to write, heres some alternatives.

Script writing, novels, journals, comic books, cinema/ theatrical, poetry, song writing, or whatever your mind can take you.

You can basically take that gift of yours and turn it into something good, you could be working at a good decent job that you enjoy doing it and then you compare that to yourself now.

Look at where your at now.

Some of you may have succeeded and some of you may not but you know what, that never gives you the permission to quit lieing to yourself and stop you from being who you truly are.

And one vital and important key, never and I mean NEVER do your graft for money or fame, those are the two main items that will lie to you and kill you.

Money can NOT buy you happiness, look at me I have no money and I'm completely happy with myself.

I myself am not working at my dream job but I feel as though it's already me job, I love art, writing, creating and making people laugh, with this comic I have been doing that and it's only getting better.

I may not be a well known comic book writer or I may never get published but will I let that stop me? NO!

I will continue to keep doing what I love to do and learn from all of my mistakes, pick myself back up and learn from them, improve and get better and better.

Who knows maybe one of these days I'll get the dream job I would love to work at and be happy with the choices I've made and be happy with where I am and with my whole life.

Tell you the truth I'm happy now but I know I could improve my life a little more and that's kinda why I'm writing this to you all.

We should all think like this everyday and we would all feel so much better.

Yeah it's gonna get tough and there will be times it will feel hopeless but do NOT give up.

Don't call your life a failure.

WACOM TIME!

Yeah so guess what freaks, all the pages of the comic are done and ready for photoshop, I will be going back over all the pages and be doing a few thing.

1. Adjusting the colors to 100% black and white.

2. I will be applying screentones to most panels and characters.

3. I will be shading everything to five it a little more of a interesting look.

I actually like this part for many reasons, for one I'm always at the computer and I'm a computer junky and working on the computer through the computer just makes it seem so much more interesting.

Plus if I wanted to take a break working on the comic, I could just do a quick save, hide photoshop and click on facebook or hulu or whatever and take a quick break and go right back to work.

Plus I'm learning a lot more things about photoshop while working on the comic, I was looking at this thing and it wouldn't make a bad web comic.

So if the two publishers I've been thinking about publishing it with fail me, I could alway try and get it as a web comic.

Last night my good buddy Brad came over and looked at the first page and he even seemed impressed, something about doing it on computer gives it suck a more interesting look other than just inked out and black and white.

The comic is still going to be in black and white, but it won't be boring, there will be many different shades and hues in this one, I'll try to show the beauty of how black and white can look.

So with all of that said and done, I've got some more things to just let off my mind.

Well my fiance is gonna be gone for the weekend and as always I'm gonna miss the heck out of her.

It's like we are supposed to be around each other always but due to school, and patience from God and for the fact we want to get married, we'll wait it out and that will make us stronger in the future.

My back hurts, it's mainly been just one spot but I'm thinking I just slept on it wrong, but who knows, I could be pulling something at work so I'm gonna have to be a little more careful.

It's gonna be wird not sitting in front of my drawing desk and penciling out a page or inking it out.

Well inking wont be a part of me for a little while now.

Come to think about it, Brad is gonna be doing most of the inking now and all I would be doing is penciling, photoshop and for now clean up.

It would be kinda nice if I had someone else for clean up, someone to take care of all of the little small stuff and make sure it doesn't show up while reading the thing.

Come to think of it, I DO have one more thing I need to get and to learn before I send of this thing.

I'm gonna need to get and learn Adobe Illustrator, those of you who are in to comics and other art projects and if you've ever haft to come down to editing some of your stuff on computer or if you want to clean up a comic page, this software would be perfect for you.

Well I be going now, the lady sounds like she's ready to hang out and I wanna hang with this chick so bad.

So yeah I woke this morning feeling pretty sick, you know the kinda sick where you feel dizzy and like crap where you think your gonna puke.

I was planning on getting some work done this morning before I have to go to work but I feel like crap today so I'm just gonna wake myself up and prepare myself for the long day at work.

I really wish I worked at home instead of working in a building for some company, I would do a lot better if I didn't have a manager or some pencil pusher telling me what to do everyday.

Thank goodness I'm half way finished with the comic, all I've got left is to screentone the thing and it's all done on computer so it should move by a little faster for me since I'm always on the computer and all.

it would be pretty cool if one day I work independently for my own, one day I hope I get to that point to where I could work on my own stuff and not have to work for someone else again.

You know, make your own hours up and draw all day long and at least have fun doing what I do.

Well I'm gonna go, gotta get some things done before I go to work.

What is in the point of worrying? What does that accomplish?

You know... I've been having a lot of worries on my mind lately.

For one I'm wanting to get this comic done soon but I've been having problems doing that.

No but seriously, we all worry and it's proven that worry causes stress which in very unhealthy for you.

That sounds like some strong stuff man, an emotional feeling that is actually killing you.

Did you know that stress kill your white blood cells.

Holy crap man! Well I know I'm not gonna worry about a thing, God will show me the way no matter how it turns out to be, no matter how hard it is, bro he's by my side, telling me something.

So how do you expect me to get closer to God without taking every little challenge and learn from my mistakes?

Everything around me is a test and no matter who or what it is, you will not get in my way.

No I'm not high lol.... Wow now that's gonna make it look I am, well maybe I am high, high on life FOOL!

Actually the reason be why I'm in such a perfect mood, I've been working on my comic again, it's been several days since I worked on that thing.

But really man, this thing is mover at a pretty decent pace now.

Your really gonna understand the reason why it's taking me so log to finish, I've had to go back over and redo some pages, one to catch up the artwork and two because it shorten the comic a little.

This whole comic has sucked man, actually it was pretty awesome.

So many new things I was learning left and right.

There will be more on the blog of the Zach Dailey who is still behind the pencil, pencil is still taking the lead.

Ha ha yes!

I feel some what normal and back but some things have changed.

Well my internet isn't running as fast as it usually goes... I'm thinking that maybe ATT is doing so repair work or there might be some construction going on or maybe I need to have my phone lines checked.

Oh well... I was still able to manage and get something done, something I've been meaning to fix for a long time.

I was able to reset my forums and revamp it as well, it's been dead for so long and I'm thinking this would turn a few heads.

Well Brad and I went house hunting last night and had no luck finding any places for rent so we're gonna go look at some apartments and see if we have any luck on that.

I just realized two things last night, one being I now have a strong love for Windy's fries, they are so good and salty, it was like taking a bite out of Gods right hand.

I've never had Windy's before...

Also I have discovered to the source of pain around Kroger.

Me and Brad sat at the pick-nick table aka the smoking table out by Kroger's drive through pharmacy and we were both feeling just fine when we left the place and went driving around but when we got back, we both had a headache and were feeling pretty bad.

The only logical explanation would be some kind of magnetic electro field around the building designed for one purpose, to destroy you.

Slowly spending your money, gaining your trust and wearing you out and then when your not looking, the building will sneak up on you and EAT YOU! Ooooohhhhhh.......

Scared you huh? Well I'm gonna jet out and make this a short one, I gotta work on the comic here soon and stop being lazy.

Long day at work, tired and still having those back aches.

funny thing was I got a lot of sleep last night but I guess my body isn't used to a good 5 hours of sleep.

Well some things going on in my head and I feel as though I need to write it down and get someones opinion on it.

So an old friend... Acquaintance I used to hang round in the past recently called me up telling me it's been a long time since we've talked and the reason be is because last I heard from his brother was he was in jail.

But to be honest I'm not sure if I should stay in contact with this guy, I mean he's a good guy and all, smart with computers, I mean if he really wanted to, he could get himself a job working

at the pentagon but since he doesn't apply himself to his craft and let's drugs, pills and booze control his life, that doesn't ever sound like it would happen.

I mean I used to look up to him a lot when I was younger but over the last couple of years, I've been really disappointed with him.

I means it's one thing to ask me for twenty bucks almost all the time I see him but this guy starts a conversation by asking me to do him a favor and you can guess what his intentions are behind those favors.

I really wish he would clean himself up, he has so much talent and he's brighter then he thinks but lately his lack of good judgement and bad choices and habits have really been destroying him.

I mean tell me, do you think it's kinda sad when you go over to someone house or you have to go over to their house, pick them up and take them back your house and expect to actually accomplish something but in reality that person popped in maybe eight pills or however many bars and starts passing out every five seconds...

Cigarette in one hand, almost about to burn him and every time you wake him up, he falls right back to sleep... He's destroying himself and it's not that I don't want to be around him but I can't stand seeing him like this, just being around him makes me so sad and it breaks my heart... I mean this is a guy I related to so much, shared so many cool moments and I looked up to him.

I wont say your name on here for my respect for you as a person who enjoys your own personal privacy but if you ever do happen to read this than I hope you've made it this far because man, brother, old friend... I really want to tell you something.

Please listen to me, I wanted to tell you this for a long time and it may not be easy to read as it is for me to type this.

I really worry about you man... Just because I don't want to associate with you right now doesn't mean I hate you or don't like your any shady move like that, it simply means because I myself can't be around all this activity.

I have to think about the future, I have to do with what I can when I can and how I can when it is necessary.

I know life sucks sometimes and yeah there will be a lot of messed up things going on all at once but that's the way of life, reality sucks and I know that, we have all been through many past tortures and pain but he have to keep looking forward and not let the past drag us down into the gutter to something we were not meant to be.

If we let our past hold us back, how do you ever expect to get somewhere in life when your nothing but a broken record laying on the ground, not able to spin and play that music.

People who see you and know of you, they may smile when they are around you but for real man, from most of the people I know who know you and have seen you lately, their feelings for you have changed and some maybe out of disgust and others out of disappointment.

But disappointment dosen't mean we don't care, it means we're worried about you, it means we want to see you succeed in life one day but as of now and how your treating yourself, it breaks my heart man, theres been times I've thought it all over in my head, a lot of heavy stuff in my heart and I've prayed and cried about it.

Your not just hurting yourself, your hurting others who love you, I don't need to explain what name of that definition means but please man, if it's any constellation... I'm sorry... I'm sorry for all of that stuff that happened to you, even if your not or anyone else is, I am.

I'm so sorry that all of this has poured into your life, pick yourself back up man, turn away from your hold backs, continue your life and let no one or nothing drag you down!

You are YOU, you write your book of life and you make the chapters, no one else is the author of your book but you.

I'll be praying for you man...

Alrighty, last blog besides the blog song deal, I wrote a little blog telling you all how tired I was.

I'm still tired but I got some sleep last night, some good sleep I might add, I can't even remember when was the last time i've had a decent amount of hours of sleep.

Oh God I'm listening to some awesome Zelda techno, it's from the Link to the past soundtrack, the castle, I remember it so well because I grew up most of my childhood playing almost every Zelda game.

Back on track, well I've been thinking it over with my good friend Brad James, who has also started up a blog of his own, check it out here.

We decided to start looking around from place to place to find us a place for the two of us, so we're gonna try to have a little more time to work on the comics and other stuff.

Things have been getting in the way lately of me trying to remain independent, the atmosphere has changed here so I'm finally moving out on my own, me a man facing the world with his head up and his wallet dry as a bone.

So today I'm gonna have a chilling day, gonna hang with the lady and I don't have to go to work

until five.

Hopefully I can get some things done today or tonight or tomorrow, my lady will be moving back up to her collage and I'll be missing her like crap but if I know her as well as she knows me, she would not want me to sit around and do nothing all day, she would want me to be productive like she is.

That's what's cool about me and her, we're pretty busy in the heads and we always want to try to do something new and make a new challenge for us to over come.

So while she's in collage I will be praying for her and hopping she does really good in her school work and I'll be cheering her on from where I'm at and hope she hears me from over there.

I will just continue to work on the comic, making it a little closer to being done, who knows, I'm almost on the computer part of the thing and knowing me and my fascination with computers, I could have easier access to working on the thing and I have a feeling things will move a little faster with this next step.

I maybe entirely wrong and it maybe so hard that my arms rot off from photoshop-cancer.

Man my back is just hurting today, it was hurting last night too but I'm not sure why, it may have to do with stress, or I slept on it wrong or my body is tired from lack of sleep...

Oh well... Gotta go though you robots, I need to get ready to hang with the awesome and by awesome I mean my lady.

Guess who hasn't been my friend lately.... SLEEP!

Yes it's back people, my old habits that are tearing me apart...

For one my friend Tory Bell wanted to hang out with me, he mostly wanted to do it because of a game and so his case was more annoying than it was an inconvenience.

Next my work wanted me to come and work on my day off, I said yes because I'm desperate for the money, as much as I hate working for that company, serving those power hungry rodents and helping out nothing but a bunch of lazy and unnecessary people but sometimes we have to face our torments for a quick buck or two.

Next was last night, my good comic amigo Brad James came over and locked his keys in his car, poor kid, he's done this like three or four times over at my house.

He was having a moment to himself as well, he spilt ink everywhere on his stuff and a little on my stuff, he worries too much and I think it's because some of his ink got on the back of my new page.

Who cares, it's called photoshop dude, don't trip out on that bro, I'll find a way around it all.

Next that same night I had to find my girl another birthday present, I didn't have to but I really wanted to because she's so cool.

So I got her a computer desk, it wasn't a bad deal and plus she really needed one for her computer, it wouldn't of cared if she had a Windows but she own a Mac and that pice of awesome machinery needs to be on a stable platform with comfort and support.

Then I come home to take a nap today after dropping Brad off at his place then his parents, ha that was funny, blond moment... And from my lady's birthday party, I need to head back soon but I felt like I should blog instead because regardless I will get no sleep in thirty minutes because for one, my dad is bothering me to do the couple of dishes I left in the sink like two hours ago, I've been letting them sit out to break some foods stuck to the pan apart.

Guess what this guy decided to do, he decides to place the pots and bowls in my room, in my way, still wet and the message behind that is forget about whatever it was you were planning on doing because you have to wash these dishes regardless, I hate washing dishes so much! I used to do it as a job and dishes have become my new worst enemy.

So now my alarm to head back to Deanna's house to go eat is going off so I have to wash dishes, head back over, eat food and stay out for who knows how long, her house it hot and full of animal fur...

Man sleep, you and I suck as a team.

I'll be surprised if I ever get back on track one of these days, so much more obstacles getting in my way but I have to do it, no doubt about it, Zach is denied sleep by the whole world for now, take it and enjoy it I guess.

Yeah so nothing else accomplished on the comic, decided to chill with my two amigos and play a little RE5.

Kicked zombie butt I might add, still I feel kinda bad I didn't get to work on the comic any...

Well I can't do anything about it now, I must have to go into work today on my day off and work 6 - 11.

Not really what I wanted to do on my day off nor could I talk my way out of it... Well I guess all I can do now is get some grub to eat, get rid of this headache and find the lady another birthday present when I get off and go to bed.

Can't stay up late tonight, tomorrow is my lady's birthday and she also wants me to go somewhere with her and her mom so I'm thinking I'm gonna have to get up early in the morn for that.

I wish my job was to kill zombies all day long, it's never boring.

Morning Shakes

So it's currently 4:46AM and I'm afraid I wont get very much sleep tonight, for one I didn't do but one panel of the comic tonight and I meant to finnish penciling out the whole page tonight.

I kinda failed at that because I get easily distracted, I mean easily.

I'm sitting here now in front of the computer listening to some good podcast episodes when I should be laying down sleeping my precious head away into dream land.

That's another thing you'll be learning a lot about me, my sleeping habits and maybe some other ones while I'm awake.

Sometimes I decide to not take my pill to help me drift to sleep so I try other ways, for one I have to have a decent atmosphere flowing in my room, I need a creative one so I listen to a lot of podcast episodes of inspirational artist, writers, directors and online skits.

I found myself listening to my own podcast but I couldn't sleep to that so no thank you.

After I get a good long episode going in the background to the perfect volume, I must have a decent temperature in my room.

Lay in my bed, tuck myself in and lay there, then I get up to check to see if my TV is unplugged and lay back down in bed, now I get back up to see if my door is locked, come to think of it, it might not be, I have a friend spending the night and he was the last one coming in so I'm not sure if he locked it, plus he might have to get up at night and smoke but I hope if he didn't lock it that he gets jumped and not me because my door is locked so that should keep any intruder coming in to know that the door is locked and I hope he can respect personal privacy.

Alright so I just checked and the handle was locked but not the top part, that little pice of metal makes me feel oh so safe.

Man I should really get to bed...

So nothing much has really been accomplished, only did one panel tonight and was planning on finishing out the whole page tonight.

I'm really stating to get lazy, that's ok though, I could always hire some chinese kids to do my bidding.

So I'm Zach to the Dailey, I am starting up this little blog to vent, waste time and get some extra stuff off of my mind.

Bare in mind this is the first time I've blogged in years so I have no idea how it's gonna turn out but we'll just go one from here and not look back with any salty tears.

Last night I was hanging out with a good friend of mine, Brad James, fellow comic artist and future inker of my new comic that I've been working on for about five years.

Five years because I've been on this project on and off, trying to get all the character designs down, make sure the story is good enough for others to read.

Making a comic book is no piece of cake my friends, if anything it does have it's suck moments.

This comic I've been working on has been keeping me on my toes every day and night, keeping me awake and restless.

I have pills for that now...

Yes that is something you should know about me, I have to put myself to sleep now days, I can't just lay in bed like a normal person, I have to take a pill mostly every night just to get a good nights sleep and feel some what refreshed for the next day.

Otherwise I might go on a killing rampage, ok maybe not a killing rampage but something bad will happen, I'll make sure someone is hurt in some way or form :)

Back to the comic stuff, I've been working on this comic you see, the artwork it's self has only taken me a year to do, I'm almost to the part where I can scan every single page and photoshop them, I'm also still learning a lot on photoshop so yay for learning!

But everything I've done in this comic has been nothing but one new thing after another, one more test to take to see how far I can push myself to improve more than what I am now.

I'm also working on another comic, a manga actually, this has been a more laid back one for me for the fact all I have to do is write a story and look at someone else draw and ink it out and decide if the pages look good or not.

My partner I've been telling you about, Brad James is my artist, he is an amazing artist, I'm so glad to have him as a friend and a partner in comics.

He is the illustrator and inker for the manga I am writing for, mostly he shows me a new page and I look at it in amazement, there hardly is a time I reject or make a bad remark on something he's made but when I do he knows it's true and we both dig that.

Knowing we can both can look at our own work and talk about it's pros and cons, point out it's potential and flaws, nothing we make is perfect and we know that, we do it because we love improving in things we love doing and that's one of the reasons why I love working with Brad.

I am currently in the process of penciling out this last page of the comic, not the actual last page of the book but the last page that is keeping it from being scanned in.

I've decided since Brad is going to be inking out the next three books of my comic that I want him to test out his inking skills now, he is willing to take the opportunity and the challenge to do it and i'm willing to let him.

I think he would like it, this comic is not a manga it has it's own style and it's nothing like he's done before and I know there will be some challenges for him but he's like me in a lot of ways, willing to take the challenge and bite it in the neck, rip out it's neck like flesh and make it his bitch.

I'm also wanting my fiance to work on this a little more with me, she has a lot of talent in art too!

She has helped in a lot of ways though, if it wasn't for her, this comic might of sucked spelling wise.

Well I'll be talking more about the comic life later, I'm sure there will be one of those random sleepless nights where I can't do anything but rant, vent or even cry.

Not not crying, I'm a man, I've gotta have manly things to do like BLOG!
